Swirls and Squiggles

All swirls and squiggles, this little number is covered in drawings that are so similar to what you’d find in my doodle sketch book. Plus, it’s got some killer side pockets. Front, back, side…it’s a winner. Anything that’s a royal blue, that reminds me of the ocean, is also an A+ in my book. Thank goodness work this week will be bringing me up North, to Montauk, for some fresh sea air. I need it.

Balance

I swear things are getting crazier each week. I refuse to wear anything but my friend’s holed up Bob Marley tee and vintage denim dress. I’ll give them back…maybe. Worn in our shoot for our Modern Vice boot (soon to be released!) and everywhere else in between, I’m back on a vintage binge! Juggling everything I’m working on is madness, but really, there’s just never a dull moment. Slowly getting back on guitar for a big project I’m working on, but as you can tell, I’ve been managing to squeeze a little bit of everything into my life. It’s all about balance baby, balance. And it works! When you’re having fun at least…

Neon Splash

(Big Star tank, Hudson “Lucy in the Sky” jeans, Shoemint sandals, Lomography film camera)
This mint green Lomography film camera is more of a toy than anything else. Perched against the wall in my apartment, it’s always on display. Come on, it’s pretty darn cute. I haven’t had time to use it yet, but it’s been on my to-do list to take it out for a spin this afternoon. And especially now, since my summer really has been one big splash of color with neon yellows, tie-dye blues, and coral lips, I want to capture these days in film. Lomo style.

VOLCOMUNITY: Shake It Out

“My sister’s backyard clearly could use a little trim, but it was actually the best place to take my little pastel pink Volcom fringe dress for a spin. This simple cotton number is one of those pieces that you reach to just after jumping out of the shower. It’s super soft, and the movement in the hem is beautiful. There really is nothing better than an overgrown lawn to play in when it comes to lazy Sunday mornings.”
