TEEN VOGUE: Rad+Refined Mid-Summer Lookbook

(Styled by Jacqueline Rezak, Photographed by Vijat Mohindra)
Here are just a few behind the scenes snapshots from my Rad+Refined Mid-Summer lookbook shoot. I love the 60’s vibe to the hair…blunt bangs and loose waves. Really, the whole style went perfectly with the bold crochet dress, lace flares, and teeny-tiny crop tops. Shot on location in Chicago, I got to explore every corner of the city. Mid-summer never felt so good!

MONTAUK: Island Love

There really is nothing better than on being location for work. I was out in Montauk, shooting for Italy’s PENNYBLACK S/S ’13 Magalog and let’s just say, the whole experience was a dream. Squinting in the sun, dressed in crochet and cotton florals is what I’ve dreamt summer on the island would be like. This season’s shoot was based around the beautiful beaches and greenery of The Surf Lodge. We got that free-spirited hippie vibe I love the most. The embroidered couches, little twinkling lights, smokey fire pits, and late night jam sessions were all just small wonderful accents to our trip. Though we spent the majority of our trip driving around the island on location with our photographer Kelsea Kosko, we did get some moments to relax and just enjoy the sea air. Currently reviewing all images from the shoot with the team…and let’s just say the images turned out BELLISIMO.

Teeny Tiny Dresses

(Free People dress, Dear Fieldbinder boots, Ax+Apple, Vanessa Mooney jewelry, Pour la Victoire bag)
I’m finally back home after a week of shooting, both in my house and out in Montauk. My apartment is a liiiittttle messy after being in and out so much, but I’m slowly getting back in the groove of things. I have an endless amount of stories to update you on, it’s pretty insane! Until then, I’m bouncing around town this weekend in teen tiny shift dresses (a gift from the big sis). I’m actually wearing this bad boy again today for an afternoon out at PS1 concerts. Don’t think this dress will be very clean once I’m through with it. Gotta thank big Dy for all these little hand me-downs. Sometimes it feels good to be the little sister.

A Music Story

(Chaser Brand tee, Stylestalker dress, UGG Collection boots) Photos snapped by Kelsea Kosko
This may be the perfect look for running around the city in-between appointments. A long dress over my most worn-in tee, and of course, a killer pair of combat boots. I was running to the UGG Collection event just after a photoshoot and honestly, I had about 2 minutes to change. Cabs weren’t helping things roll along any quicker that day either! Anyways, I was greeted by one of my all time favorite bands, The Drums, upon arriving…and yes, one of the best views in all of Manhattan. Chelsea Arts Tower, I love you more each time I visit! Though I was running completely late, I still managed to meet the models that I had decked out in my music style…crochet, rock tees, leather shorts, lots of jewelry. Of course, a comfy pair of grunge boots goes a long way. Who knew my Dad would have taught me everything I know about classic rock? Forever my favorite style, on or off the stage.
