Modeling since the age of 15, Natalie Lim Suarez has been a notable figure in the fashion industry for years. Based in NYC, she is 1/2 Chinese, 1/4 Spanish, and 1/4 Mexican. With her passion for photography, creative direction, design, music, writing, modeling, and style, NATALIE OFF DUTY was born. Completely inspired by the "model off duty" on-the-go lifestyle. Sharing her stories, inspirations, and projects through her own photography and writing. Already noted for her winning fans in Harper's Bazaar UK, featured editorials in ELLE, and WWD for her "Good Taste." Along with campaigns and ambassadorships to top fashion and beauty brands from around the world. Some including COACH, DKNY, L'oreal Paris, Saks 5th Avenue, Sunglass Hut, Levis, and Nordstrom. Her eclectic, unique style has launched many successful design collaborations sold in top retailers around the world. Next to fashion, Natalie's other passion is music. I love getting a few days in Stockholm, Sweden. I was nonstop in the city with Volvo for the reveal of the fully electric Volvo EX90! This stunning vehicle is inspired by nature and Sweden’s minimalist fashion. It’s a car I definitely see myself driving once it’s available in 2024. This 100% electric SUV seats 7 and has brand new safety features. I loved getting to visit Volvo’s hometown of Sweden to really immerse myself in their word of art and sustainability. I have another roadtrip with Volvo coming up very soon so stay tuned!

The Nobis Hotel is where you’ll see this stunning spiral staircase and it was our home base this trip. It’s in the center of town, right near all the incredible shopping, and has the most amazing restaurants. A couple of days in Stockholm for work is such an inspiring treat.

I’ve totally just hit up the sneaker department HARD lately. After wearing so many uncomfortable shoes for years on set for shoots, and walking the streets of NY with bandaged heels, I thought, “I really need to invest in some proper kicks.” They have saved my feet. Not to mention, it’s the perfect excuse to take on classic Swedish style. Just pair something totally classic and chic, dressed down with the perfect beat-up sneaker. Duster coat by Rodebjer (must-have Swedish brand), an embellished mini, and my favorite white tee. Oh, how I miss Stockholm! Where minimalism is key, and effortless is everything. Next to my favorite Pumas, Vans, and Nike sneakers, I’ve also recently went GA-GA over Brit brand Gola who I just shot with for the S/S ’15 campaign. Shop below my favorites.
