HEADING TO THE LONGCHAMP PARIS SHOW AT NYFW

// Longchamp jacket and handbag Dear Frances boots, NYLORA biker shorts //

I took a very sporty look to the Longchamp Paris show here at NYFW. A statement Longchamp suede jacket straight off the SS20 runway cinched at the waist with a biker short and cream boot. Something that really works on the basket courts or on in the front row. Every season, Longchamp as become my most coveted show. Each season the Paris teams comes to NYC, bringing a star-studded event, stunning Manhattan views, and forever flowing champagne. You can’t help but stare at the front row just as much as the gorgeous looks walking down the runway. For Fall/Winter 2020 you’ll find unexpected and beautiful ways of using leather, shearling and luxurious nubby wool textures, something Longchamp has become a master at. I seem to always find their statement handbags to also be something that steals the show, completing just about every look. Meet the Longchamp mini Roseau bag. It may be mini, but it sure is powerful. It fits all the necessities: my phone, lipstick, and keys. I feel like going minimal all fashion month. The less I have on my hands, the better. And black patent really goes with just about every color palette come spring. So tell me, how are you surviving fashion month?

FASHION MONTH AHEAD!

// Preen dress (similar), Chanel handbag from Rebag, Karen Walker sunglasses (similar), Emilio Cavallini tights, Pedro Garcia shoes //

New York Fashion is quickly approaching. I’m already buzzing around the city going to fittings for some very exciting front row fun with my favorite designers. I’ll be keeping things low maintenance as usual whether it be backstage or on the red carpet. Shoes that I can actually walk in. Clean, fresh makeup. Oh, but a statement bag for sure. September FW was a blast. I don’t think I took a moment’s breather, but that’s how I like it. This is a flashback to September, where you could find me out on the town in feminine dresses by Preen and a socks/sandal combination. Then again, dressing for the winter is my absolute favorite. This season will be all about statement outerwear, gloves, and fuzzy hats. Who is ready to cozy up in the front row?

NYFW NIGHTS SEPTEMBER 2019

// Lie Sang Bong gown, Chanel bag, Amina Muaddi heels //

The SUAREZ SISTERS definitely danced their way through NYFW! I found myself in a glittering Lie Sang Bong gown for Harper’s Bazaar ICONS, a fitted velvet midi dress at the Shopbop pop-up party, and a classic black suit (my go-to) for the Rag + Bone show. When it gets dark, I let all sides of my personality come out. It could be a smoking black eyeshadow or a statement red lip. Whatever mood it may be, make it fierce.

VICTORIAN LACE AND PRETTY PLEATS

// Magda Butrym jacket, Adeam skirt, Gentle Fawn bodysuit, Malone Souliers shoes //

Lace holds a special place in my heart. It’s sensual yet powerful. My love for this delicate fabric began with my overflowing vintage collection as a teen. I would search far and wide for Victorian-inspired lace…all of which would be layered under dresses, or simply on it’s own. Ruffled sleeves and puffy shoulders. Cue “Leather and Lace” by Stevie Nicks and we’re golden. Magda Butrym‘s twist on a Victorian jacket feels modern and wearable for the everyday. I gave it a little evening spin with a lace bodysuit and pretty pleats to kick off fashion week. I’ll be wearing lingerie as outerwear for as long as I can before winter comes!
