It really seems as if I have traveled around the world in a month. Phew! But boy was it fun. It was dancing on tables fun. So fun, I barely got sleep! Here I am behind the scenes on set with Anthropologie at the Aman in Venice, Italy. This was our last night together after days of shooting with the production team, and we had one large feast before parting ways the next day on our flights. I live for Venice’s grand interior design and a good plate of cacio e pepe. This was an end to a once-in-a-lifetime train ride on the Orient Express. I can’t wait to tell you all about it. For now, I have to wait until New Year’s Eve to shimmy in another little party dress, and hopefully without knocking down a glass of red wine.

I am back from a whirlwind of European travels. My jetlag was so rough over this weekend, but now I am finally 100%. It feels good to back to regular NYC programming with Team Suarez. But the suitcase is there in my house, looking at me, reminding me and calling me to pack because there is somewhere else to be and very soon. There is so much to share with you so I’ll be quick! My first stop happened to be in Rome with the lovely Fendi team for a super exciting and exclusive timepieces launch. You’ll see a little sneak peek here on my wrist. Ooo la, la! But I first want to bask with you in the Roman sunlight this very early morning at the Colosseum. It’s not very often that work brings me to Rome, and it’s a must to visit this absolutely legendary piece of history. It’s grand. It’s iconic. There is nothing like it. You just stop and stare, wondering about all of the stories and secrets this place holds. I got there early, nearly 7am, to see it bare, raw, and on the sunny side of the street. I did as the Italians do and slipped on a decadent, and I do mean a little over the top look for this very early morning. These two pieces are two perfect transition pieces as the weather warms up: a classic thigh high slouchy boot and mens blazer. Oh, and my Fendi bag of course.

Yes, National Scarf Day is actually a thing. September 27th. Mark your calendars! This week, I had the pleasure of hosting Echo New York‘s 95th Anniversary party at Bloomingdale’s. It’s pretty incredible to think their brand has been family run for over 95 years! It’s definitely very rare and a huge accomplishment! Bravo Echo New York! Thank you to everyone who came uptown to meet me and the team! It reminds how amazing and truly loyal my followers are and I’m so thankful for that! I have worn Echo scarves forever, and they have travelled the world with me from Nicaragua to Italy. I can count on their elegant prints and luxurious silk to instantly make any look pop. They are suddenly my best fall accessory. When it comes to scarves, it’s all about experimentation. Best worn around the head, as a top, skirt, or loosely hanging from my bag. Keep things classic and tie it closely around your neck. Anything goes really. I had an amazing time photographing Echo’s new collection in Venice, Italy. They make me feel like a local everywhere I go. Think drama, drama, drama. Emerald green, salmon pink, and gold have stole my heart this season. Here in NYC, I feel the cool breeze coming in from my window each morning. Fall is officially here and I always feel incredible in this look: a metallic blazer, a wool trouser, and an amazing silk scarf.

Thank you to People Magazine for following my Italian adventures through Verona at the Intimissimi runway show! From Venice Film Festival, I made my way to Verona to celebrate one of my favorite Italian lingerie brands. This year’s theme at the Intimissimi show? Enchanted Forest. Think loads of green lush surrounding the runway alongside chiffon skirts paired with their signature lace bras and panties. We had a long day of show preparation so I began with a slow morning and coffee at our gorgeous Hotel Due Torri, in the heart of Verona.

You’ll notice the beautiful red and gold walls. Everything in this hotel looks worn and lived in. So classically Italian. I could stay in this satin jacket and pant all day long if I could. (By the way, there’s no better bra than the balconette bra, it’s the best for full coverage!) You’ll see I wear it under everything here. I had a quick morning to walk around our gorgeous neighborhood before slipping into hair and makeup. We’re celebrating lingerie, why not go for big teased hair and a sexy eye? We did just that. Bridget Bardot locks and a really dark, smokey eye for my makeup. It was hard for me to choose between this sparkling purple blazer and blue pantsuit. I wanted to show off my amazing Intimissimi lace bodysuit and opted for a more classic look: the pantsuit and a pair of pink heels.

The space of the event was actually the Intimissimi Headquarters. The show was set up like an art exhibit, with rooms and rooms of different product presentations before we could all head into the actual show. I was blown away with the entire production. A real enchanted forest had come to life. Click below to take a peek at some of my favorite runway looks. Besides classic black lace, I’ve fallen for whites and burgundy. Even sequins! The star studded cape certainly stole the show. I can always count on Intimissimi to make lingerie iconic and effortlessly chic.

I am currently writing from my hotel lobby here in Verona, Italy. These past few weeks have been insanity. With the campaign shoots to my clothing collection, launch press events, and now, over a week working in Italy for the Venice Film Festival. I’m glad to be back to writing after a week of absolute crazy. I had to pinch myself as I found these images of me on the red carpet of the ‘A Star Is Born’ screening during the 75th Venice Film Festival at Sala Grande in Lido! I feel so lucky to have an incredible Armani Beauty family. So far, we’ve already travelled all over Europe this past year from Paris to London and now Venice. Venice may have been the icing on the cake. I had my red carpet Giorgio Armani fitting back in NYC before we flew out and I think I tried on every single dress…from sequins to ruffles to chiffon. But there was something so special about this very simple, long and lean lace gown. It fit like an absolute glove. I knew it was the one. And with only 30 minutes to get ready before walking the carpet, we went with a simple red lip and clean face. My favorite red at the moment is Rouge d’ Armani Matte lipstick in #400. It’s that classic Old Hollywood “movie star” red that is my go-to for any red carpet event. I threw my hair up in a bun last second to show off these decadent earrings, and voila. I was ready. And even with the rain coming down on the red carpet, it still felt like magic. What a memorable night with my fellow Armani Beauty Stars followed by a team dinner with Cate Blanchett. Keep pinching me. Keep pinching me.

Milan this past Milan Fashion Week was the coldest it’s ever felt for me. This huge shearling coat was my best friend this past season…that along with a great pair of tights and over-the-knee boots. Now that I’m living in tee-shirts and jeans here in Los Angeles, I forget how much I adore these luxurious textures and pieces in my closet. I kept myself super busy with fashion week appointments and shows, which made me somewhat forget how brutally chilly it was outside. My rule: keep moving. As an LA native, I am shocked at how well I handle these intense winters. Maybe it’s because I literally never stop. My mind is always elsewhere…the weather will just have to do!

Some of my Milan highlights this season were Bally and Tommy Hilfiger. Completely different, yet both relatable to my style. Bally felt fresh and youthful this season, with a classic 70’s twist with bright red shearling collars and retro black chelsea boots. It was a very sleek and sophisticated take on vintage classics. Tommy’s show was on the sporty, All-Americana side of the spectrum. Think biker shorts and striped race car driver moto jackets and leather pants. I left Milan feeling inspired as ever, though the jet lag was officially kicking in. Despite crazy weather, we explored, we ate, and we met a lot of wonderful people. I even got to do the lucky spin for the first time ever in the heart of the Duomo! I am just happy to look back and see we’ve survived one very intense and very cold fashion month. Since then, I’ve been traveling again yet taking things a little bit slower. I’m home in LA this weekend. It’s a good 90 degrees and I’ll be by the pool and hot tub for most of the afternoon. All that hard work and travel has really paid off. Time to enjoy what the new season has to offer.

Just looking back at these photos make me sigh. I have approximately 2 hours until I have to head to the airport…yet again, for work. Traveling is indeed tiresome (I can barely open my eyes at the moment), but it is equally just as much a fuel for me. Some places just take your breath away, and it’s worth that really long walk or train ride or hours stuck on an airplane. I don’t think I’ve seen anything as beautiful as the Cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore. Just a short walk from the city’s most luxurious shopping district. My Firenze diaries really don’t ever seem to end now do they? I keep rediscovering lost, unpublished moments. It was a rainy afternoon on the Ponte Vecchio, but even with the grey skies, the city was golden. Glistening with it’s raindrops. It was our last day in the city, and I felt the city was weeping with us. I didn’t want to leave this magical place. There’s something very romantic about a walk in the rain in an unknown city and disappearing into the nearest cafe. I’ll remember every street corner and every face we’ve come in contact with, but never it’s name.

Well, my dream crib. It was a chilly morning at Villa Cora, and I wanted nothing more than to sit on that balcony with a cup of hot tea. There’s something about a pink house I just adore. Faded from the Italian sun with a lush courtyard to boot. When I wasn’t slipping into my favorite cocktail dresses for our nights out with the Luisaviaroma team, you’d find me in this pair of kickass jeans. So high waisted they go far beyond my belly button, with a zipper and hook that reminds me of the Limited Too flares I sported back in elementary school (except those had a leopard stripe down the side. Yikes). Jane Birkin is the reason any girl has flattering jeans nowadays.

The Hotel Villa Cora is indeed one of my favorite places to stay in Florence, Italy. My bright yellow room was quirky, bold, and so incredibly chic! There was so much character. I never wanted to hop out of that gigantic bed. Even my bathroom and tub was a beautiful hue of mustard yellow! Now I just want everything in this happy, eclectic shade. Our stay felt a lot like a movie. It easily could make for a Wes Anderson film set. Everything was symmetrical. Everything came in pairs. The lamps, the end tables, the chairs. Everything centered and perfectly placed. It’s funny how I notice my surroundings. I picture everything as a photograph. But I guess that’s a good thing when it comes to my field of work. Plush pillows. Luxe curtains. Morning breakfasts overlooking the steaming outdoor pool lined with Roman statues. This is one place where you will feel just like a queen. The best thing about traveling is enjoying the hotel. Then comes the food. Then comes the fashion. Florence made me want to cuddle up in a beret, scarf, and my hotel slippers. Dylana filmed this little short story at the lovely, Hotel Villa Cora. And what a pleasant stay it was.

I’m excited to share our final series from our Luisaviaroma #Firenze4Ever shoot in Florence, Italia! When I saw Dylana in this beautiful metallic Missoni number, I once again bounced off her vibes. Color and vibrancy. Just like our personalities. Anything that looks like it could be a Skittles campaign, count us in! I spotted this Antonio Berardi silk twin set, and decided on dressing down our luxurious looks with some “dance till you drop” sneakers. Completely unexpected, but we convinced our stylist that it just works. From the drained jacuzzi, we had the absolute best view of Florence. The clouds peeking in just before a good rain. We had E Online Latino and the Luisviaroma team on set with us to document a little super hero hot tub action in some of our best clothes.
