Modeling since the age of 15, Natalie Lim Suarez has been a notable figure in the fashion industry for years. Based in NYC, she is 1/2 Chinese, 1/4 Spanish, and 1/4 Mexican. With her passion for photography, creative direction, design, music, writing, modeling, and style, NATALIE OFF DUTY was born. Completely inspired by the "model off duty" on-the-go lifestyle. Sharing her stories, inspirations, and projects through her own photography and writing. Already noted for her winning fans in Harper's Bazaar UK, featured editorials in ELLE, and WWD for her "Good Taste." Along with campaigns and ambassadorships to top fashion and beauty brands from around the world. Some including COACH, DKNY, L'oreal Paris, Saks 5th Avenue, Sunglass Hut, Levis, and Nordstrom. Her eclectic, unique style has launched many successful design collaborations sold in top retailers around the world. Next to fashion, Natalie's other passion is music. Singing along with piano/guitar continue to pop up in her upcoming fashion campaigns.

Another amazing shoot accomplished. I’m so excited to be inside the latest ELLE September 2017 Issue for my partnership with TRESemmé. This fall I’m all about big, big hair. I want my hair to feel weightless, with loads of movement. This amazing rock n’ roll look was created by hairstylist, John D on set right here in NYC. The funny thing is John D. did my hair on location at one of my very first photoshoots in LA…over 10 years ago! I was such a baby. Time really flies when you’re having fun. And we haven’t seen each other since… and look at us now….TRESemmé bringing us together for another epic photoshoot. The world just gets smaller and smaller. My hair definitely needed his magic touch. See how easy it is to recreate this look.

I still have to pinch myself everytime I spot myself in a magazine. Here I am shot for ELLE China’s August 2017 issue in collaboration with Marisfrolg. It’s amazing getting to feature the very contemporary and modern-chic style of designer label, Marisfrolg for ELLE China, all while twisting in the best of my bustling city, New York City. It was all about oversize everything and really eclectic layers like dresses over lace pants…belted and boxy cropped jackets… and extra wide-leg trousers that hit the floor. Talk about cool. It’s this fall that I can really play with interesting structures, shapes, and layers. Elegant. Marisfrolg is the master at elegance. I took my super chic looks and sashayed around the Lower East Side…hopping on top of cars and singing on rooftops. I hope you love this editorial as much as I do.
