I love a crochet moment on Copacabana Beach. Rio de Janeiro is wonderfully chaotic and so full of life. I miss it so much.

This is certainly my favorite color palette. This little beach proves just how gorgeous our earth is. We took our boat through the coast of Barra de Sao Miguel Alagoas in Brazil, and found this absolutely stunning, sandy cliff. As the sunset hits it, you’ll find peachy browns and soft pastels. Colors twisting and turning like a perfect marble surface. This cliff was so soft to touch, turning into powder the moment my finger brushed against its walls. We spent a lot of our day swimming and cooking by our boat so this little end of day hike was just what we needed. I let myself blend in instantly with Mother Nature.

Right now is the perfect time to go through the archives. There are so many moments that still need to make it to NATALIE OFF DUTY and I will be using this weekend to roll them out for you for your daily dose of inspiration. These are from December in Brazil. I was in town for a press trip and campaign with Brazilian Footwear in Maceio. Though we were shooting and working a lot, the team made sure there was plenty of downtime to explore and adventure. I never laughed so hard in my life. We had the best crew! Maceio may just be one of my favorite destinations ever. I was absolutely blown away by it’s natural beauty and I really miss the vibrant energy in Brazil! I loved waking up and immediately feeling the heat, opening my balcony, and having my morning coffee by the ocean. I had my very first, very strong, caipirinha. We barbecued lobsters on our boat on the coast of Barra de Sao Miguel, Alagoas. I floated away, caipirinha in hand, in my inflatable raft without a care in the world. But most of all, I miss this last sunset right here on the busy beaches in the heart of Maceio. This was shot just as our trip was coming to a close. I wanted one more second of the Brazilian lifestyle. A dotted bikini. The sand. The sunset. It’s perfect. I feel so lucky that work has brought me to so many amazing and remote locations all over the world. I can’t wait to do it again.
