I love how the fashion parties have made their way to Brooklyn! I wore this spectacular black dress out for a night with Armani Beauty at the Wythe Hotel and it felt very on brand. I’ve gotten to travel the world with the brand from Venice Film Festival to Paris and I have so many amazing memories with the Luminous Silk Foundation. It’s one of the absolute best. It just melts into your skin and gives you that perfect fresh faced, dewy look, no matter where you are or what you’re doing. To more night celebrating all of our natural beauty.

There is something perfectly 90’s about this Armani Beauty lip. This shade #209 reminds me of the shades my mother wore growing up. Pretty rustic browns all over with fluffy bangs and a classic black turtleneck. Simply chic. I recently was back on set with the Armani Beauty team here in NYC and I can’t wait to show you what we’re working on next! It felt good to be back in the studio and working with a large crew! Suddenly, the world felt normal for just one moment. I am feeling extra lucky and grateful these days.

It is only the very first week of 2019 and it has already been insane and filled with excitement! I went straight from vacation straight into Golden Globes weekend! Did everyone relax on their couches last night with a big bag of popcorn to watch the awards? I got to kick off the new year here at the Chateau Marmont for the W Magazine Golden Globes party with my lovely Armani Beauty team. What a star-studded place to celebrate Golden Globes weekend! It’s not easy snapping back into work mode so quickly into the new year, but I will do anything for such an iconic night. Therefore, I slipped into this dazzling sequin Armani suit and stilettos for the red carpet. The Armani Beauty team came to my room to get me ready and I knew immediately after trying on my final look that I needed a very fierce, smokey eye. Heavy metals, my favorite. I kept the rest of my face really simple, with a nude/pink lip. As for my hair, just a tease at my root and a little cream through my ends. Voila. I’m easy. The quicker, the better. I’m so low key when it comes to getting red-carpet ready!

It’s my first time ever visiting the Chateau Marmont and besides rubbing elbows with all the Hollywood ingenues, I was certainly enjoying the suite life. This lovely suite had a super cool, retro kitchen and dusty pink bath tub. Oh, and you know me, I never go anywhere in LA without my entourage. By entourage, I mean my mom and dad. Being in Los Angeles for work allows me to spend more time with them. They enjoy getting to be a part of the glamorous part of my job. The travel, the hotels, the food, the scene, and the clothes. I love being able to share all of these fabulous moments with my family and friends. The Chateau Marmont is Old Hollywood at it’s finest. It feels completely untouched from the 1920’s. It’s certainly an interesting place to be. Dark and moody, the best spot in the house is at the bar by the pianist. W Magazine and Armani Beauty, thank you for transforming the penthouse into a stellar night celebrating “The Best Performances” this awards season!

The most amazing thing about Venice Film Festival and working with the Armani Beauty team is that I got to share this incredible week with my Mom. It’s rare we get to travel on work trips together, and this one felt super special. And in gorgeous and star-studded Venice, Italy…what more can a girl ask for? She loved all the glitz, glamour, the food, and most especially the makeup. You’ll see her below getting a little lip touch-up with the team. She made me laugh the entire time. I’m always so happy when I can get my family involved with what I do. It makes everything 100x more fun and memorable! Here we are in the Armani Beauty Stars press room. Think life-size makeup compacts and Rouge d’ Armani lipsticks in this gorgeous Venetian chateau. You’ll see a ton of red here because it’s the iconic Armani Beauty color. Firey, chic, and sophistcated. Red also happens to be one of my go-to colors, especially on my lips. For the Venice Film Festival, I alternated between a classic red lip in 400, a nude pink lip in Androgino, and a brown in Diva. Venice during the film festival is just absolutely magical. You never know who you will run into. Though we had a whirlwind week of shoots, press days, and the red carpet premiere of “A Star is Born” there was plenty of time in between to sit back on the boats and float slowly through the canals. We sipped on numerous Aperol spritzes like the locals. Now that is a dream.

I am currently writing from my hotel lobby here in Verona, Italy. These past few weeks have been insanity. With the campaign shoots to my clothing collection, launch press events, and now, over a week working in Italy for the Venice Film Festival. I’m glad to be back to writing after a week of absolute crazy. I had to pinch myself as I found these images of me on the red carpet of the ‘A Star Is Born’ screening during the 75th Venice Film Festival at Sala Grande in Lido! I feel so lucky to have an incredible Armani Beauty family. So far, we’ve already travelled all over Europe this past year from Paris to London and now Venice. Venice may have been the icing on the cake. I had my red carpet Giorgio Armani fitting back in NYC before we flew out and I think I tried on every single dress…from sequins to ruffles to chiffon. But there was something so special about this very simple, long and lean lace gown. It fit like an absolute glove. I knew it was the one. And with only 30 minutes to get ready before walking the carpet, we went with a simple red lip and clean face. My favorite red at the moment is Rouge d’ Armani Matte lipstick in #400. It’s that classic Old Hollywood “movie star” red that is my go-to for any red carpet event. I threw my hair up in a bun last second to show off these decadent earrings, and voila. I was ready. And even with the rain coming down on the red carpet, it still felt like magic. What a memorable night with my fellow Armani Beauty Stars followed by a team dinner with Cate Blanchett. Keep pinching me. Keep pinching me.

I was just in London with the Armani Beauty team for the launch of Armani Beauty’s Face Fabric foundation. This mousse-like nude foundation is completely weightless. I love when my makeup doesn’t feel like makeup. Shade 2 is the perfect fit for me…as are these Emporio Armani jeans. Our studio for the Face Fabric shoot was amazing. Talk about one killer set in the middle of Shoreditch, London. Everything was larger than life….from the Face Fabric customized bottles (they were even taller than me!) and foundation sponges that also doubled as pillows. It was like stepping into my very own vanity. A true makeup playground. The Face Fabric foundation is beautiful, clean, and simple. Like I said, it’s so soft and light, that the closest thing I can describe it to is a mousse-like foundation. The  texture is made to be applied with your fingers. For the shoot, I went with my best blue jeans and an oversize white shirt with a classic Emporio Armani stiletto. My makeup was extra fresh. It’s all about showing off smooth, healthy, even skin. I had a soft bronze smoky eye and an orange/red lip. I now keep the Armani Beauty Face Fabric foundation in my bag at all times, especially when I travel. I just got back to NYC from Nicaragua and it’s all I wore on the beach and everywhere in between. It’s amazing for my skin. Face Fabric comes in 12 different shades so you’re bound to find the perfect fit!

As for when I as off set and off duty, I spent my days at the Rosewood Hotel. Dylana and I had the most beautiful suite, making the most of our bubbling hot tub and delicious breakfasts in bed! And you may have noticed this vanity…just as amazing as studio light. It’s the most epic spot to find your perfect shade. Besides thoroughly enjoying our lovely hotel, I made sure to eat my way through most of Central London. Think late night dinners with the team for fish and chips at Sketch in Mayfair and a classic English high tea over at the stunning Berkeley Hotel in Knightsbridge. The fashion version of course…we literally ate cookies the shape of Armani trench coats. Having my base at The Rosewood was a dream. Until next time Armani Beauty! I was in Paris with the Armani Beauty team to celebrate the global launch of their new fragrance, Sì Passione. We had a photoshoot with iconic photographer, Tom Munro, before entering the beautiful world of Sì Passione. The gorgeous Palace de Tokyo location was transformed into a sea of Giorgio Armani red exuding an air of femininity and strength. A shiny red staircase welcomed us to this star-studded event, with loads of interactive corners of love and fire-y passion. I’m wearing a look that I’m bound to wear over and over again: an Emporio Armani oversize bright pink blazer, high waisted black glittering trousers, and the perfect stiletto heel. My boyfriend showed me these earrings as I was just finishing up my fitting. He now knows my style now too well. Prepping for this special night was easy. The incredible Armani Beauty team came to my hotel room at the stunning Park Hyatt Paris-Vendôme and gave me a smoky, sexy eye, a berry lip, and subtle twist in my hair. Paris brings out this sultry side of my style. When in Paris, I do as a French girl would. French girls keep it undone. Rather than a dress, go with a pantsuit. Rather than a red lip, go for a smoky eye. This is by far one of my favorite looks as of late. The city of love couldn’t have been more of a perfect backdrop for the launch…with a little reason to stop and remember those strong passions that keep us alive.

This season, I have been working on numerous new video campaigns…for Emilio Pucci, Gucci, H&M, Armani Beauty, and so much more. I find video and film to be my new way of storytelling. I love taking up that extra challenge to create some magic in movement. Team Suarez has been so busy in the editing department these days, but we’re having so much fun doing it. Brainstorming. Styling. Location-scouting. We played around and made a beautiful mess with paint in the studio for Emilio Pucci’s Monochromes collection. We brought the fairytale world of Gucci x Unskilled Worker to the super cool streets of my neighborhood of Dumbo, Brooklyn. We ruffled around the house, getting ready for a surprise holiday party with H&M Holiday. We travelled to Milan Fashion Week in search of pasta, glammed out in Armani Beauty’s Ecstasy Shine lipstick (my color is #401 red). These are some pieces of my favorite work to date. 2017, you’ve been amazing, motivating, and inspiring. Bring it on 2018.

Here are a few outtakes from a recent campaign for Armani Beauty’s Code Colonia fragrance in Montauk, New York. It’s a scent that’s meant to be shared. What’s better than having a scent you and your lover can always come back to? For me, this one reminds me of romantic summer getaways together, from St. Martin to Ditch Plains. Here at Gurney’s Seawater Resort in Montauk, my bedsheets were as crisp and white as my favorite power suit…the perfect compliment to this fresh morning fragrance. We had some sunny days and some cloudy days, but each, equally relaxing with days spent in the indoor pool and nights by the fireplace. May the last weekend of summer and fresh whites-on-whites, live on.

This Labor Day for me is about playing catch up, as I have so many deadlines coming up pre-fashion week! Team Suarez is in the midst of so much craziness, we can’t really take the day off. But it’ll all be worth it once we hop on that plane for a quick getaway to Mexico City. Only 10 days. Yes, I’m counting down and not letting summer just slip through my fingers. I hope some of you are getting in those last bits of fun in the sun on this holiday weekend?! I sure may be out here in Manhattan today, but mentally, I’m back in the roman bath here at Gurney’s, bundled in a crisp robe. It’s by far my favorite resort in Montauk…you must visit! For now, it’ll be hard for me to hang up this absolutely perfect white power suit, but it has to be done. Until next year.
