Take a peek at my feature inside the latest GISELE Japan Magazine! I remember shooting with GISELE back at my home in California, and was super excited when I heard they wanted to photograph me again, but in my newest home, New York! We shot in the beautiful DUMBO area of Brooklyn. I also gave the magazine a peek inside my wardrobe and jewelry collection, showing my staple pieces for fall in the city. Current obsessions: cashmere sweaters, stripes, bright skirts, and rad accessories!

Before Dark

(Elkin sweater, H&M shirt, Bishop of Seventh pants, Rebecca Minkoff bag, Vanessa Mooney/David Yurman jewelry, Ax + Apple necklace, Tory Burch shoes)

Evenings in NYC are getting more and more chilly! I’m already seeing people sporting scarves under their jackets! This weekend, which was blessed with clear skies and warmth, was just an exception. I made sure to be outdoors as much as possible, knowing that rainy days are ahead. Just sitting in a park with a tee shirt, jeans, and a cold drink was refreshing. As I’m transitioning into fall, I see myself in trousers and cropped sweaters layered over button downs! Boyish clothes are just so much more comfy when it is cold out! I’ve also been sporting an adorable pair of penny loafers by Tory Burch. I swear they make any look instantly more relaxed and chic. Because I walk everywhere and I’m constantly on my feet, slipping into these little guys feels like heaven at the end of the day!

Shorts That Shine

At the Walter presentation!

Here is my last batch of photos from NYFW! It was definitely one of the busiest, craziest weeks of my life, but I had THE BEST time thanks to all my amazing friends. This day I was jumping from shows to presentations and parties, literally collapsing in bed by the end of the night! I began my morning at the Walter showroom where I picked out this simple, yet totally awesome look to sport at Lincoln Center. How cool are glitter shorts? I paired it with a classic, sheer button down. I can easily see the shorts transition into fall with a nubby wool sweater or something! After picking my way through the Walter showroom for the perfect look, I went straight to the Rebecca Minkoff show with one of my very best friends Christina! We even scored amazing front row seats! The collection was very relaxed, classic, and more importantly, wearable. I basically wanted to take them all home with me! Right after the show, we made our way to the Walter presentation, on the rooftop of The Empire Hotel. With gorgeous views of NYC, it was a dream spot for the show, creating a beautiful vibe that went with the clothes. Let’s just say this day was pretty unforgettable!
