The view from the rooftop restaurant at Terrass Hotel is insane. Dylana and I had a luxurious night in Paris with pasta, wine, and a stunning view of the Eiffel Tower. Montmarte is a special place. I am blown away whenever I stroll through this part of town, especially by night. For my last night in Paris, I kept things as comfortable as possible. Think a silk pajama-esque shirt and pant with a fun play on layering. This is a uniform I could live in. Silk has been my fabric of choice for as long as I can remember. I could certainly use this for my 9am calletime tomorrow. I’m keeping things quick and short tonight as I’ve got a really long week ahead! I love that it’s possible to wear out what you wore to bed the previous night, don’t you agree?

THE PRINTED EVERYTHING IN ETRO

You may remember this Etro scarf. I’ve worn it around my head during multiple beach trips and lately, I’ve decided it also doubles as a belt. When you’re working with classic Etro prints, pile it on. Everything just works. I was so inspired after my meeting at the Etro HQ at Milan Fashion Week…everything was super cinched at the waist…. the layering was right on point…. I was even picked up this amazing not-so-simple black bag as a gift from them team. I took what I loved and brought it to Paris. Here I am back at The Hoxton during Paris Fashion Week. It was just before heading to the airport and boy was I feeling jet lagged. 3 major fashion weeks in a row and my body was feeling it. I couldn’t wait to hit snooze on the plane and hide under a blanket. I managed to brighten up my day with a little swipe of electric blue eyeliner and highlighter yellow pants for one more coffee run. Color makes everything better now doesn’t it? Lately, I’ve got to settle down a little bit back in the sun of Los Angeles to recharge. Now I’m back in NYC with some really exciting shoots coming up this week. I’m excited to be home…to really unpack and gearing up for what looks like a crazy May.

If you’ve ever been to Aspen or simply just love live music, you may have heard of Belly Up Aspen. They have completely pushed the boundaries of a small live music venue. Now a household name, this intimate music venue brings in big acts from all over the world including names like Diplo, Joe Cocker, The Chainsmokers, LCD Soundsystem, and comedy legends such as Dave Chappelle and Adam Sandler! Aspen, at this time of year, is absolutely perfect. We’re talking beautiful lodges on the mountain, afternoons hitting the ski slopes, followed by a drink with friends over at Belly Up Aspen. Now, that’s a ritual that will forever live on. To me, music, fashion, and travel completely intertwine. The Belly Up Collection is a fashion brand influenced by the live music experience they’ve created. Here, I went for a tank and super soft hoodie that I’ll wear over and over again.  Belly Up Collection is now on it’s second season and I’m so excited because it’s wearable, soft, and just a classic staple. Here, I’m sporting both the crop hoodie and muscle tank.I have been layering them like crazy these past few days. I have to admit, I even sleep in them, and wear them on the plane… they’re that good. But most importantly, the collection will always remind me of what I love about Aspen. A super chic city that is all about sports, music, discovery, the outdoors, and having a good time. MY 8TH COACHELLA ACCOMPLISHED | BB DAKOTA

Style

Coachella is my way of kicking off spring. The heat. The sun. I absolutely love the energy and togetherness that Coachella brings each year to Palm Springs. Plus, it’s the perfect excuse to extend my work trip to Los Angeles. More pool time please! I counted with Dylana and this is our 8th Coachella in a row since 2011. Not much has changed, yet I still manage to make each year feel like it’s brand new again. Early mornings are spent by the pool. Afternoons are spent at brunch or a hotel day party. Nights are spent hopping between shows. Palm Springs has it’s busiest weekend of all time, bringing in bands from all over the world. This time? Revolve Festival, Coachella, and Neon Carnival all in a single night. I’ve seen many of the bands over and over again around the US at different festivals that I’m beginning to know the lyrics by heart. Borns, Haim, and Migos to name a few. Boy was I party pooped!  And it’s all happening again right now, this weekend for Coachella weekend two.

Right on for those who can do all that fun in the sun two weekends in a row. I’m taking a breather instead! But since many of us are still in festival mode or planning to hit up Bonnaroo or Lollapalooza later this year, here’s a round up of some festival looks to get you prepared. BB Dakota partnered up with Dylana and I this season, and I swear I saw girls wearing the latest collection at every single event I went to out in Palm Springs. We also hosted their pre-festival bash at their LA headquarters. It was a pretty special night. So many amazing ladies came out to support and shopped the line. This denim overall dress and BB Dakota top/skirt combination were the it looks this festival season. These easy pieces are perfect for festival season because it’s hot, you’re on your feet, and you just want something easy and light to dance in. It’s awesome to see how many babes were sporting BB Dakota! I couldn’t help but take photos! I took my favorite BB Dakota go-tos and gave it my own twist with a little layering. Festival season is all about the freedom to wear and do whatever you want. Glitter? Why not. Denim? Necessary.
