This Bite Studiosdress is New York City perfect, and it’s a new designer label that I’ve fallen madly in love with. It’s amazing how something so simple can be so artistic. Voluminous sleeves with a full skirt, it’s classically feminine. I have to say, this is my 5 minute dinner party look. Toss the hair up in a low bun, swipe on a brown lipstick, and throw on a metallic shoe. New York City is snowing today, so I’m savoring some down time inside the home. I’ll be using this holiday weekend fo catch up with friends, work on some new editorial content, and snuggle up with a good movie on. Nothing feels better than home this time of year.
This is my Aspen style. Fuzzy hats, super nubby knits, and a bit of plaid. Totally inspired by the winter chic decor of the St. Regis Aspen. The St. Regis hosts the annual World Snow Polo Championships right here in Aspen, Colorado and it is the most perfect and luxurious way to kick off the holidays every single year. I like my mornings to begin at the Velvet Buck for a hearty and delicious breakfast before a long day at the races, followed by evenings spent at the St. Regisspa, decompressing in the hot tub. There really is nothing better than dipping your toes into a hot tub after a full day out and about in the snow. The team and I took it to the slopes to ski early one morning to get in a little sweat before cheering on the polo players at the championship. The energy at the World Snow Polo Championships is incredible. It’s cheerful, extra cozy, and totally chic. You’ll spot some incredible winter fashion there as well. We even had a special dinner with the polo players at the hotel, the Midnight Supper, one of the rituals St. Regis Aspen puts on for their special guests. Escaping to Aspen is a must every single winter, and most especially at the St. Regis. With every St. Regis I travel to, there’s a ritual whether it be champagne sabering, an amazing midnight supper, or bloody marys in the main bar. Each experience feels unique and brand new. There really is an endless amount of beauty and fun to be found in and around this town like picking up a one-of-a-kind vintage piece or snuggling late night at the hotel bar. When I travel to The St. Regis Aspen, I spend a lot of time soaking in the amazing hospitality, delicious and comforting food, and of course, a good sleep in the extra comfortable beds. It really feels like home, no matter where I am. I think waking up as the sun was rising over the mountains with a pale pink hue was a major highlight. That, and a good cup of coffee. Until next time Aspen. You are magic and you make me love winter more and more.
Our very first fragrance, NATALIE DYLANA Eau de Parfum, is now live and available to shop, exclusively at Scent Beauty! This is our very first product launch together as the Suarez Sisters, and we couldn’t be more excited to tap into the beauty world and create our very own story through scent. Fragrance is an art, a way of self expression, and it’s more than an accessory, it becomes a part of you. A part of your essence. I have to say, NATALIE DYLANA Eau de Parfum is truly a part of us. This scent is is joy in a bottle. It feels both brand new, different, yet it also feels nostalgic. It feels like home. Like you just want to get closer and closer to whoever has it on their skin. As we were creating this product with the amazing team at Scent Beauty and our wonderful perfumers at Firmenich laboratories, we wanted to play off the duality of sisterhood which is complex, contrasting, yet complimenting. We wanted our scent to feel powerful, yet soft enough to be worn at all hours of the day. But most importantly, we wanted it to reflect the earth, in both the scent’s notes and the beautiful bottle. You’ll notice we played off our love of disco desert, words we used constantly in the product development phase. Why disco desert? Dylana and I love the beauty and simplicity of the desert, which derives from our west coast roots, combined with a playful, bold Studio 54 which is really found in our NYC dna. We took inspiration from the outdoors: pink sunsets, clear blue skies, woods, and marbles. Our fushia marble top and sunset fade on the bottle reflects our love for nature as well as color. We spent months in product development at Firmenich laboratories, testing numerous scents on our skin to see how they wear over time. Before we knew it, NATALIE DYLANA Eau de Parfum was born.
Our scent is happy. It’s awakening. It’s comforting. It’s fruity and woody. It feels warm. But there’s a freshness to it. It feels clean, soft, elegant. There’s nothing like it. It just makes you want to get close to whoever is wearing it. Finding that mix of freshness and warmth was key to us. It’s all about that duality. The beauty of a perfect, unusual contrast. This scent is unisex, and made for the perfectly imperfect.
Here are the notes:
– juicy fig and mandarin for our playful side
-jasmine petals and orange blossom for our sensual side
-amber woods, musk, and cedarwood for our edgy, warm side
Sexy and simple, I adore the Pedro Garcia shoes VOLCANO collection. It celebrates a 20 year collaboration of sparkles with Swarovski Professionals so it is indeed a sparkling love affair. This particular pair is my go-to. You can never go wrong with a strappy black heel, and this one feels both simple yet extra special. Bare legs and a tweed suit for a night out in the middle of winter in NYC? I say it’s worth it, just hop from the uber to the party in a quick dash.
