THE VINTAGE BOB MACKIE MINIDRESS

My mom brought her vintage Bob Mackie dress to NYC and I am so happy that I got to finally wear it again. The last time I wore this beautiful piece was when I was 15 years old, performing in my high school talent show, singing and dancing a cover of “Ain’t No Other Man” by Christina Aguilera. It’s amazing that after all of these years, the dress fits even better, and I’ve always wanted to wear it to a special fashion event like this night, at the Saks Fifth Avenue Social Club dinner at 4 Charles. What I love about a Bob Mackie is that it is designed for performers. They are all glitz and glamour, worn by icons like Cher and Naomi Campbell. I can’t wait to collect more Bob Mackie dresses over the years. There are some I’m eyeing! Thank you to Mama Suarez for bringing back this stunning piece and letting it shine with new life on a NYC night out.

JOHNNY WAS SUMMER 2024 CAMPAIGN

I photographed the new Johnny Was Summer 2024 campaign in Los Angeles, against the gorgeous backdrops of California. This collection’s bold and beautiful prints work so well against California’s iconic blue skies and intense rays of sunshine. These are a few locations that I grew up visiting from the mountains to the sea. Revisiting these special places felt like a breath of fresh air. I got to completely reconnect with nature, my home, and my family. California works wonders on your soul. I grew up outside with evening walks in the woods, hikes overlooking the queens necklace, and just driving the highway with the wind in my hair. Johnny Was is a brand I connect with as a true California girl who loves a colorful life.

CLUB CAROLINA HERRERA!

// Carolina Herrera dress and bag //

I love how Carolina Herrera has really brought back the polka dot dress. It’s a classic. And you know me, I love an all red backdrop. These were snapped at a very late night out at Silencio, a cute little French disco club in Manhattan. All I can say is that we danced way past midnight!
