THE BOLD BLUE EYE – MARC JACOBS BEAUTY HIGHLINER

// Marc Jacobs Beauty Highliner Gel Crayon, The Significant Other dress //

I am hopping into spring with some electric makeup looks. I instantly gravitated towards the Marc Jacobs Beauty Highliner Gel Crayon in “Out of the Blue.” It’s matte, intense color that lasts 12 hours. It’s basically a gel pot eyeliner with the ease of a crayon. I fell in love with it so much that I have stocked up on them in just about every single color. It now takes 1 minute to create a bold, winged cat eye. This is a beauty product that remains in my bag at all times. After a totally wild fashion week back in NYC, you’ll find that I’m now in Los Angeles for work. I have a few more shoots lined up out here and I’m really just soaking in all the sun and enjoying family time during my limited time off! Also, this sunny weather brings out the fun, colorful side to my style. Here is to a spring season with more bold beauty experimentation.

HEADING TO THE LONGCHAMP PARIS SHOW AT NYFW

// Longchamp jacket and handbag Dear Frances boots, NYLORA biker shorts //

I took a very sporty look to the Longchamp Paris show here at NYFW. A statement Longchamp suede jacket straight off the SS20 runway cinched at the waist with a biker short and cream boot. Something that really works on the basket courts or on in the front row. Every season, Longchamp as become my most coveted show. Each season the Paris teams comes to NYC, bringing a star-studded event, stunning Manhattan views, and forever flowing champagne. You can’t help but stare at the front row just as much as the gorgeous looks walking down the runway. For Fall/Winter 2020 you’ll find unexpected and beautiful ways of using leather, shearling and luxurious nubby wool textures, something Longchamp has become a master at. I seem to always find their statement handbags to also be something that steals the show, completing just about every look. Meet the Longchamp mini Roseau bag. It may be mini, but it sure is powerful. It fits all the necessities: my phone, lipstick, and keys. I feel like going minimal all fashion month. The less I have on my hands, the better. And black patent really goes with just about every color palette come spring. So tell me, how are you surviving fashion month?

LAY LADY LAY

// Sezane jeans, Uniqlo x Alexander Wang bodysuit (similar), Soru earrings (similar) //

I just got to play “Lay Lady Lay” by Bob Dylan to this photo series. I have worked with Sezane for so many years and it’s absolutely incredible to watch a brand grow so organically. Sezane lovers are true Sezane lovers. We’re talking lines outside the store on every product launch, and more Instagram buzz than you can imagine. It’s exciting to be a part of the love. It’s a brand that has and always be conscious of our earth, our humanity, and our surroundings, so it’s no surprise that their denim relaunch is 100% sustainable. Each pair is made of 100% organic cotton, and produced with recycled water. The denim processing is also waterless with an overall 83% less use of chemical productions and 2x less water used than regular production. I really can lay around in these all day. So for those of us who are taking more and more steps to a more sustainable wardrobe, we can start simply with a pair of jeans.

Tre by Tre Pre-Fall 2020

// shot for the Tre by Tre Pre-Fall 2020 collection //

I love the rebellious side of the new Tre by Natalie Ratabesi Pre-Fall 2020 collection. We shot this in Brooklyn earlier this year, where I met the designer, and fell madly in love with how she can intentionally pair a glamorous sequined bodysuit with a perfectly baggy pair of high waisted jeans. Even better, the reconstructed denim is upcycled. There are so many classics here that I cannot live without like the extra oversize pantsuits and cropped blazers. The fits are fantastic, and not something you can find just anywhere. It’s effortless with an elegance. Tre by Tre also features some incredible red carpet and award season-ready dresses. This emerald green gown is a total dream. It’s light as a feather, and moves perfectly with the wind. Hands down, the entire collection is all a woman needs in her closet! That, alongside a little garage punk music to get ready in, which was playing all day on set. Because you know, a cool girl just loves her rock n’ roll. It’s rebellious, yet it’s royal. I am so excited to have shot for this incredible team!
