FRESH NEW BEDDING FROM KASSATEX New York

I like my bedroom to be super minimal with a combination of whites and grey. This soft color palette really helps me rest each night. I like to invest in amazing bedding because it just makes me feel so good as I tuck myself to sleep each night! A gorgeous well-made bed really is something to put the time and effort into. I just spruced up my bedding with the amazing Kassatex New York. Founded in 1999 right here in the Garment District of NYC, Kassatex has a love for creating chic, luxury bed and bath products inspired by the classic and sleek NYC style. It’s superior comfort that is casual, affordable luxury. I went with their beautiful Mercer bedding. I fell in love with this clean waffle design. This cotton and linen combination creates a texture that instantly makes a simple white bedding, not so simple. Plus, the more pillows, the better! I topped off my set with a gorgeous baby alpaca throw in light grey and charcoal. It’s so important to invest in a good night’s sleep. I travel so much that I count on a good 8 hour sleep every night to get me through a jam packed day, or early call time. I like the feeling that little luxuries, like a brand new bed set, can bring. JOIE SUNDAY GIRL: NATALIE + DYLANA

The Suarez Sisters love our Sundays. Sundays are meant to feel easy. We like to stay around our Dumbo, Brooklyn pads and soak in all that our neighborhood has to offer. As for what I wear on the weekends? Anything that moves freely and feels soft to touch on my skin. I’m so excited to share our Joie Sunday Girl story and interview, featuring both Dylana and I. This was shot on a very rainy, gloomy day here in the city in and around our homes. We got to chat with the team on how we got our start, how we work together yet seem to differentiate ourselves (especially with what we wear), and what our perfect Sunday in the city looks like. The amazing thing about this feature is getting to reflect on our growth as both individuals and a sister duo. We took the latest Joie spring collection and layered it up, styling it in our very own eclectic way. I have worn Joie for as long as I can remember and I love how the designs have evolved and grown with me…always classic, sophisticated, French chic with everything: joie de vivre.

NEW TO MY HOME: THE SIXPENNY ARLO LEATHER SOFA

Meet the new addition to my bedroom, the stunning mid-century Sixpenny Arlo leather sofa. I fell in love with this Dark Amazonite, earthy shade. It really warmed up my bedroom, contrasting against my white duvet and complimenting my Persian rug. I had this beautiful corner of my home to fill. Surrounded by windows with the view of the both the Empire State Building and the twinkling lights of the Manhattan and Williamsburg bridges, it’s the perfect spot for a comfy piece to lounge on and just gaze out. As you know, I always order my furniture online and I’m so excited to introduce Sixpenny to you all! Their leather is incredibly soft yet firm enough thanks to it’s luxurious feather/down and fiber seat. The tufted pillows make it a statement yet casual at the exact same time. I had it Made to Order and luckily, shipping and delivery was extra easy! I like to keep my home minimal and free of clutter with a modern, mid-century twist. Sixpenny had everything I need. I’m now eyeing their sectionals next time it’s time to redecorate my living room space. Home decor is something that I had no idea I loved so much. I’m certainly minimal with an eclectic, colorful touch when it comes to my loft. Time to finally get some nice big leaves and some green to really warm up the open and industrial vibes of my space! Since I travel so much, I want to come home to a super cozy sanctuary. After 2 years in my first space as a homeowner, I’m really starting to select pieces that feel more and more like me.

NEW TO MY HOME: THE MASTER & DYNAMIC MA770 SPEAKER

I begin and end my day with music. On weekends, my mornings are upbeat. I blast some Marvin Gaye, dance, and cook up some pancakes. My nights are a lot more mellow. Candles and soft jazz music relax me as I work at home late into the work week. These two times of day are my absolute favorite. Because music flowing through my home is a complete necessity, I had to get my hands on the Master & Dynamic MA770 wireless speaker. I have been eyeing it for quite some time. My NYC loft is minimal…a mix of concrete, wood, marble and a pop of red in my pipes running along the ceiling. This Master & Dynamic speaker fits in with my clean aesthetic thanks to it’s hand-finished concrete composite. The stainless steel grille is actually magnetic so you can remove it to switch up it’s look and expose it’s components. Talk about super chic. But let’s talk about the sound quality. It’s shape and geometric form gives it a super pure sound unlike anything else. Crank up The Rolling Stones and you certainly won’t feel the floor vibrate. It’s that sleek. When I play a song, it sounds rich and expansive, flowing through my home perfectly. I can count on this speaker to set the mood no matter the occasion, and in style.
