CATCH THE APPLE

(Free People velvet jacket, H&M silk blouse, J Brand black skinny jeans (similar), Jenny Bird serpent cuff, MANGO star ring, IPPOLITA silver ring, RAEN sunglasses, “Natalie + Dylana Suarez x MODERN VICE” studded CHLOE boot)

Sometimes you just need to get out of the city. Drive into the country, and be surrounded by green, and open space. A little escape where nobody knows your name. We found ourself surrounded by rows and rows of apple trees. This was my very first time applepicking, and it’s honestly the most relaxing thing ever. Carrying the large wood stick, I could barely balance and my it was my boyfriend was the one who was much better at reaching high up and picking the fresh apples, in greens, reds, and dark burgundy. I loved sitting back and taking the teeny tiny baby apples in the palm of my hand. Too cute. For our day upstate, I was that girl wearing the long velvet cloak, oversize sunglasses, and studded boots in a sea of adorable families and little kids. Let’s just say I really stuck out like a sore thumb. But I’m just happy that it’s that time of year again! When the pumpkins are out, and you can buy fresh apple spiced donuts right off the highway. I love October. That chill, and getting to sip a hot chocolate anytime of day. We ended up carrying two giant bags of apples to the car. Over 100 apples sure are heavy!! I’m still eating one a day…they’re so sweet and just SO GOOD. Nothing beats some fresh fruit picked with your bare hands. Now, I just need to decide what to do with the rest of our batch…

GOLD TRIMMING

(MINKPINK striped dress (similar), Denim & Supply Ralph Lauren vest, Kenneth Cole bag, Saint Claude Nola necklace, BOERA knuckle ring, The 2 Bandits cuffs (similar), “Natalie + Dylana Suarez x Modern Vice” STUDDED JETT boot)
I can’t believe I still have more from fashion week to show you. Is it really the first time I’m showing our STUDDED JETT boot?! Insane. I’ve got loads to catch up on, I guess. If only there were more hours in the day. But yes, we took our classic Modern Vice JETT boot, and added gold and silver studs…on the toes, and sides…giving this beauty a little more edge. They’ll be coming to many stores soon, so I’ll keep you posted! But gold is a color for fall, and I’m getting back into. Gold hardware, gold trimming. I took my military vest, and threw it over a striped mini. For fashion week, I tried to be minimal. There’s too much running from place to place to worry about what you’ve got on that morning. Well, for me anyways. There’s one show that I loved…All Saints. The wilted flowers, the boxy leather jackets, the silk slouched pants. It really was just about every piece you actually do need in you wardrobe, and in the rich hues of the season. Not overdone or contrived…but just what that classic  yet tough city babe should have as her staples. The space was incredible. A long brick loft, with high window ceilings. I’d take it as my home anyday. My pals and I, most of which were in town for just a few days, spent what felt like forever on those leather couches…taking a huge breather in the heart of Soho.

HOLES IN MY DUNGAREES

(Vintage blouse, Citizens of Humanity overalls (similar), SOLUDOS striped shoes, Kamryn Dame gold cuffs, Aimee Kestenberg backpack, QUAY Australia sunglasses)
Dungarees are my completely OFF DUTY go-to. Black denim, huge slashes on my knees that somehow get more ripped the more I wear them. After a shoot, I’m all about stepping into this oversize overall at home, rolling up the ankle, and slipping into these brand spankin’ new SOLUDOS sandshoes.  Oversize round sunnies to hide behind. A look to run around the city in, paint in, and just live in. This little victorian blouse buttons down the back, and I’ve been wearing it since I was 16…it’s that good. It’s Friday, and since it’s been a wild and non-stop week filled with very little sleep, I am so so ready for one of those Sundays where all that is on your agendy is watching movies, eating popcorn, and having one too many mimosas for brunch. Currently spending the day running around the factory..pulling clothes and flipping through inspiration…for a special shoot Dylana and I are working on tomorrow. We’re bringing out the rock n’ roll vibes for our next shoot together. My apartment will surely become a mess once again. Stay tuneeeed!

HUGO BOSS// COLUMBUS CIRCLE STORE OPENING// ANTHROPOCENE

(HUGO BOSS blazer, blouse, matching trouser, and handbag// Worth & Worth custom hat)
Yes, I went with the gorgeous green HUGO BOSS pantsuit. I’m obsessed. Last night was the “Anthropocene” film by Marco Brambilla premiere at the brand spankin’ new HUGO BOSS store at Columbus Circle. The moment I walked inside, past the crowds and red carpet (oh, hi Woody Allen, it was nice to meet you!) I was blown away. The store is 3 stories high, sleek, and with some stunning architecture. I’m obsessed with all of Hugo’s tailoring, and so of course, was the only girl at the party in a full-on green pantsuit. It’s just so darn chic and soft to the touch, I just knew I had to. To add a little me into the look, I threw on my custom Worth & Worth hat with vintage hardware as an added touch. I’d wear this whole look again with some booties, a rugged tank top, and nothing else on another day. It’s that perfect. After one too many champagnes, everyone made it to the third floor, for the ANTHROPOCENE movie premiere, overlooking all of Columbus Circle. Brambilla’s film of Central Park was gorgeous. The psychadelic colors transformed the park into a kaleiodscope I’ve only seen in my dreams. The orchestra gave it a haunting and beautiful feel throughout all of Columbus Circle. I waited downstairs just to see it again and again playing in the screens overhead. A film produced as part of the Central Park Conservatory, is a must-see. Go ahead and visit the brand new HUGO BOSS Columbus Circle store to view Anthropocene for yourself…it’s well worth it!

The installation “Anthropocene” will be up at the new Hugo Boss flagship at Columbus Circle until the 30th.
