Here are some shots of me from the latest Calista Fall/Winter 2010 Lookbook, photographed by Yudi Echevarria and Erika Hokanson. Calista was created in New York by the designer duo Brigitte K and Sofia Shannon, two of the sweetest people you will ever meet! I loved all the looks and would wear just about everything in the collection. The clothes looked beautiful simply with no bangs and just really bold eyebrows. I’m obsessed with their fitted lace frocks and oversize silk blouses. Super minimalistic, wearable, and chic! It’s a gorgeous collection and I’m so happy I got to be the face of their latest lookbook! Check out their website and store to see more photos and a video of the shoot!

And I hope everyone had a nice 4th of July weekend!

I’ve been spending a lot of my free time around the house and neighborhood. I’ve been taking bike rides nearly everyday. I went on a 9 mile one yesterday and I think my legs are about to fall off! I love that outdoor activities put you in the deepest sleep though. I decided to be super comfortable today in an oversized vintage shirt and”jeggings.” I really think that term is being used more often and just maybe, one day, be in the dictionary…well, urban dictionary. These are made by SOLD Design Lab. I’m in love with the tight, skinny fit. It has a denim look but feels supersoft, like leggings. Perfect for relaxed days like today. And as you know, I’ve been on the hunt for new designer jewelry. I lucked out and discovered these Brooklyn Thread woven wrap bracelets! I love leather wrap arounds that you can wear everday. The details are so pretty, made with real silver/gold and Czech glass beads. I’m a huge fan of this New York based designer. The pieces are perfect and I don’t think I’m taking them off anytime soon!

With all the bright Summer colors floating about, I almost forgot how much I love a simple gray and black outfit. It brings me back to Alexander Wang Fall 2008, my absolute favorite collection…and the show’s really good soundtrack that I usually end up playing when I need some good tunes. I’m wearing an Elaine Kim cashmere crop top, Urban Outfitters trousers, vintage bag, and THE most comfortable Cole Haan sandals. It’s summer, a good excuse to show some skin with a crop top! Anywho, I’m just super happy it’s almost the weekend! It’s been one of the longest weeks for me including studying, exams, and castings. Much more coming up… but on the bright side, I have only about 2 more weeks till my trip to the East Coast! I’ll be working on a really awesome project with one of my favorite brands! I can’t wait to get the ball rolling! But first, I gotta pay my dues 🙂

I spent this afternoon writing up my paper for my crammed summer course. work + school= exhaustion. But only about 2 more weeks left of class and I’m freeeeeee! Here I am in my study strown across the floor (loose papers and books not pictured). The sun coming in through the shutters looked super cool so Dylana snapped some pictures. Who knew my study’s hardwood floors would be my new favorite backdrop? I’m wearing the new Queen’s Wardrobe Lace Jacket along with old Earnest Sewn denim shorts. The jacket has the best fit ever and is super light. Dreamy is the word. It’s official, you can call me an ivory lace wearing obsesser GEEK…that needs major sleep. Night night everyone! Enjoy your week 🙂
