Brisk in Pink Velvet

(Mango leather jacket, H&M scarf, Juicy Couture blouse, MiH velvet jeans, Rebecca Minkoff bag, Courtney Kaye necklace and snake ring, Joie boots)
I am having way too much fun with my new lens! Many thanks to my amazing parents for the best birthday gift ever. I honestly can’t put the thing down. It takes the most dreamy images. For a brisk walk window shopping and acting goofy around Soho, I made sure to wrap this giant scarf around me. This thing goes with me everywhere. You can’t really go wrong with a chunky black scarf! With the chill, I’ve been sporting a lot of skinny jeans as well. With the holidays just around the corner, there are so many different fun styles to try out! Right now, I’m diggin the velvet skinny jean. Here I have on an adorable pink pair, a new style from MiH jeans over in London. I’m super obsessed. Paired with a cheeky cherry print blouse and some killer Joie ankle boots, I was ready for some city fun! My jewelry collection has also been expanding like crazy. I’m kind of obsessed with huge baubles and long chain necklaces (I just need to find a place to put it all!). I recently scored these Courtney Kaye pieces…how hot is the snake ring? It’s pretty and mysterious all at the same time. She’s my kind of designer! I feel so comfortable in this look, it may just be my new winter uniform 🙂

Gearing Up for the Holidays

Entering the Free People store event on 5th avenue was like floating in dream land. The ceilings and walls were covered in lights and sparkles. It was one of the most beautifully decorated parties I’ve been to in a while. This event has me thinking of the holidays and already, I’m super inspired thinking of what to wear come Christmas when I’m back home in Cali! Not only were the designs showcased in the most stunning way, there were some amazing treats (we’re talking unlimited cupcakes and champagne!) It was great to meet up again with the FP team who work with my sister at the home office in Philadelphia and whom I’ve had the pleasure of shooting the October ‘1o catalog with! Also in town were their head designers, who created these one-of-a- kind dresses. The pieces were all so beautiful, I couldn’t stop staring. Something I’d only see in a dream…come to life. I’m already extremely inspired to sport lots of chained jewelry, massive amounts of sequins, topped off with an amazing leather jacket. I definitely left with stars in my eyes!

The Metallic Pant: Like Second Skin

(Vintage coat, Havealooook blouse, A|X Armani Exchange pants, H&M scarf, Rebecca Minkoff bag )

A few weekends ago, I experienced my first ever east coast winter snow and boy was it cold! This is probably the first time I’ve really needed a gigantic coat and scarf! To bring a little life to the icy chill over here, I brought out my craziest, most fun pair of pants by A|X Armani Exchange. One thing I’m kind of obsessed with at the moment is anything with a little shine, and these are just perfect for the holidays coming up. The slim fitted cut along with the reflecting reptile print gave my rather simple weekend look a little rock n’ roll edge. Dressed down with an adorable pair of Mary Jane ballet flats, I felt comfortable strolling the parks of Philadelphia and simply cozying up on a bench. Could fall get any more perfect?
