Happy 4th my loves! There’s so much I love about our country…LET FREEDOM RING! And there’s so much more to explore. So many pockets across the crazy USA I am dying to visit. Driving through the Redwoods…hiking the Grand Canyons…the green lush up in Vermont….Marfa in Texas. USA, you truly are beautiful. I’m spending my weekend out in the gorgeous Shelter Island. No bridge in sight, that you have to make sure you’re home by midnight. Otherwise…you can’t leave. I love that about this place. It’s close enough to the city, yet feels far away enough. I can’t wait for this gloom to pass so that I can hop back onto my paddleboard, and explore what’s at sea! Lately, I’ve been all about the WASHED-OUT-TO-SEA denim. So lightly washed and so soft, that it feels like your in your PJS. That’s how I feel about these jeans. I like them best with an oversize peasant blouse (straight out of my W Concept campaign!) , my favorite grey plaid, and clogs. Enjoy these next few days of absolute FREEDOM.

Featuring all Dorothy Perkins clothing, accessories, and shoes

I had too much fun shooting with the lovely UK team for Dorothy Perkins here around my little hub of NYC! As I was styling the shoot the week before, I ended up choosing much of the TROPICAL PRINTS. Mostly because this concrete jungle has me thinking of beach a little TOO often. Bold and beautiful leaves and floral prints, but PASTEL and bold, giving it a fresh take. I mixed the design’s clean cuts (SAY HELLO TO THE CULOTTE!) and threw in some 90’s inspired gems. When was the last time you wore JELLY SANDALS? Yes, I’m currently sporting that and the stretchy black choker. Oops, I did it again. It’s as if the schoolgirl me came out as a 20 something year old…traded everything from her wardrobe in, BUT kept the funky little bits. Clearly this brand has stayed true to it’s British roots. Always gotta have a mini bowler hat and the proper satchel. To take from the office to the PUB. It’s super chic, but has that rock n’ roll, “bring out the messy locks” vibe.

There’s so so much I love about being in head-to-toe denim. It’s like I never left Southern California. EXPRESS and their superb denim selection makes it easy for me to keep my west coast vibes thriving on the east. Humid summer days are so much breezier this way.
