Simple and oh, so, French

French Simplicity

French Simplicity by natalieoffduty featuring bamboo jewelry

Recently, I’ve been working closely with ChloĆ©See by ChloĆ© to be exact (more info on that soon!) and all I can say now, is that I love getting to work with the French fashion house here in NYC, comprised of about 5 of the chicest women you’ll ever meet! Every day I look forward to seeing the simple, yet beautiful looks the girls are sporting at work. Stripes, pastel florals, and of course, the classic ballet flat. These classic pieces float around the office all day. Ohh to be French!! The simplicity rocks my world. Here are just a few items that give off that overall vibe. Paris, bring me to youuuuuuu.

Continue to follow me on Polyvore to see all my latest inspirations! I’m addicted.

VOLCOMUNITY: Pink Skies

The graphic says it all. Pink skies and palm trees are constantly on my mind. California has never let me down, and same goes for my favorite pieces from the “Natalie Suarez x Volcom” collection (yep, it hit stores June 1st!) Read more here on Volcomunity and and be sure to visit your local Volcom store to get your hands on a piece from my Fall ’12 collection! Slowly, I will be releasing outtakes from our ad campaign, which will run next month. I’m getting more and more excited and am currently putting the finishing touches on my Holiday ’12 collection. We’re still sticking with the classic rock n’roll vibe of Fall, but getting a hell of a lot more festive!

Park Crawl

(Stylestalker tee, Free People pants, Blank denim shirt, Shoemint sandals, Jewelmint necklace, Rad+Refined bag)
Work’s been a bit crazy (I’ll fill you in on what I’m working on soon!) and so I’m slowly hitting rewind and flipping through the images on my computer, recollecting moments. Honestly, so much happens in one week here in NYC that I’m kind of glad I always have my camera at hand. These little snaps were taken by a friend as we helplessly roamed Central Park in search of the big kid swings (no such luck). Anyways, I did attempt to dress playground appropriate in a pair of simple, flared pants. Dylana bought them for me at the Free People sample sale and I’m obsessed. Plus, it’s the exact same print as the cover image from the catalog I shot back in October ’10. Has it really been almost 2 years? My love for the brand grows more and more each day. I threw on some leopard sandals and a denim jacket to keep my bum grass-stain free. Worked like a charm.

Rebel Rebel

I am soooo craving fun-filled summer evening’s outdoors. Playing on the swings. Skating. Wreaking havoc in my own little world. Lazy summers are the best yet mine is already looking more busy than ever. But even in all the craziness, I always make time for play. And what better than in crochet frocks, printed vintage tees, and cool kicks to help me beat the killer heat that’s about to hit the city streets. Oh and yeah, with copious amounts of Coca-Cola. I’m ready.
