Shorts That Shine

(Walter outfit, Rebecca Minkoff bag and Vogue Eyewear sunglasses)

At the Walter presentation!

Here is my last batch of photos from NYFW! It was definitely one of the busiest, craziest weeks of my life, but I had THE BEST time thanks to all my amazing friends. This day I was jumping from shows to presentations and parties, literally collapsing in bed by the end of the night! I began my morning at the Walter showroom where I picked out this simple, yet totally awesome look to sport at Lincoln Center. How cool are glitter shorts? I paired it with a classic, sheer button down. I can easily see the shorts transition into fall with a nubby wool sweater or something! After picking my way through the Walter showroom for the perfect look, I went straight to the Rebecca Minkoff show with one of my very best friends Christina! We even scored amazing front row seats! The collection was very relaxed, classic, and more importantly, wearable. I basically wanted to take them all home with me! Right after the show, we made our way to the Walter presentation, on the rooftop of The Empire Hotel. With gorgeous views of NYC, it was a dream spot for the show, creating a beautiful vibe that went with the clothes. Let’s just say this day was pretty unforgettable!

Rooftop Breeze

(Of Two Minds dress, Pour La Victoire ballet flats, Ax + Apple necklace)

I just discovered that I have a pretty rad rooftop for taking photos! Now I go up there with friends to listen to music, relax, and take in the views of Lower Manhattan. This day, I decided to go with one of the newest luxuries in my closet, this gorgeous Of Two Minds maxi dress. I was sent their lookbook and instantly knew I had to have this piece in my wardrobe. Of course when it arrived in the mail, I fell in love. It’s a super lightweight material flows beautifully at my feet. This is something I could easily take from day to night. For the casual afternoon on my rooftop, I dressed it down with a stunning pair of red ballet flats. It’s just one of those looks that makes you feel good no matter what!

During fashion week, I was a handbag fanatic. Nearly every day I toted around something new, depending on my mood! Talk about crazy, but I honestly had the best time getting dressed for daily events and meetings! Here I am featured on Coach.com showing three of my looks during fashion week, all documented into a short little diary!

Many thanks to Coach for the super sweet words! To shop all my Coach handbag picks from fashion week, visit my feature HERE!

Hello October!

(White + Warren cashmere sweater, MinkPink pants, Mango leather jacket, Vintage belt, Dolce Vita boots, Pour La Victoire bag, Ax + Apple necklace)

Hey there October! East Coast weather just did a complete turn. It’s rainy, gloomy, and just not something I’m used to being a California girl. I find myself quickly throwing on one of these cashmere sweaters before running out the door. Already I’ve been stocking up and have them in so many different colors! They’re lightweight, still manage to keep me warm, and are just downright perfect! Next thing I’m going to be needing to stock up on: SOCKS, LEGGINGS, SCARVES, oh my. It’s so darn chilly! You know fall is here when people begin to walk around the city with their hands in their pockets. Pretty soon outfit posts are going to consist of bundles and bundles of clothing with probably only my eyes peeking out (Kidding… I think). And as most of you know, I’m a trouser FREAK. I just got this pair by MinkPink and I’m kinda obsessed with the embroidered details. Classic with a twist. Doesn’t get any better than that.
