Meet the CoachSwinger bag! I will forever be a 90’s baby. The Coach Swinger slung over my shoulder brings back the best of 1999 like a fluffy fringed haircut and a whole lot of sass. I love its simplicity and superb leather quality that Coach is famous for. Shooting for the brand this year has been an absolute total dream come true and my collection is forever growing.
Working with an iconic brand like Coach is a total dream come true. I have been working with the brand for years and I adore it’s heart, soul, and history, which is classic New York City. Welcome to the Coach Collective! I will be showcasing new collections as they launch, interpreted and styled in my own way. Introducing Coach x Jean-Michel Basquiat, a very special and iconic design collaboration. When I got the first sneak peek at this collection, what came to mind was “if you can make it here, you can make it anywhere.” Both my bag and sweater feature elements from the renowned NYC artist. This collection reminds me why I moved to NYC in the first place. To simply take on the raw, chaotic energy and challenges that come with making a dream come true. The city fuels me. I proudly wear this Coach collection beneath the pounding sound of the Manhattan Bridge because it reminds me of how authentic and strong this city really is.
This is an exciting new Coach campaign I did for the launch of The Coach Originals! I just fell in love with our extra fun graphics we got to play with here for the campaign. We are definitely bringing spring indoors these days with fresh blooms and pops of color. This collection is sourced directly from the archives, with details pulled from the 60’s and 70’s. This gorgeous hue is bringing that springtime blue sky indoors for me.
Here are three ways to style the Coach Originals collection. Pair it with a romantic dress and tough combat boot. Give it some tweed and denim. Maybe throw on a trench and metallic pant. Coach has always played a huge part in my NYC story. I have grown up with a love for the brand. Taking my mother’s Coach bags and giving it a new twist. The quality has always just been superb. I like to say it’s iconic and completely timeless.
I am also so proud to share that Coach has made a $2M commitment to support small businesses here in NYC affected by COVID-19. Thank you for being a company with a big heart. I hope this brings a little sunshine into your homes these days.
My hunt for the perfect shoulder bag is never-ending. The Coach Fall 2016 collectionis just beautiful and reminds me a bit of the vintage Coach bags I’ve had my entire life. The ones my mom would scour at estate sales to find me in every color. But it was time I updated my Coach collection. I just scored the new Coach 1941 Leather Saddle Bag at Neiman Marcus for my travels to Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. It’s classic, luxurious, and super simple. That’s what I love about it. A lot of the Coach Fall 2016 collection was very western inspired. Loads of embellishment and studs. Somehow the classic “Dark Denim” bag stood out to me. It’s really a piece that will never go out of style. That’s the thing with Coach…each bag ages really well. It’s the leather! The 1941 saddle bag is so luxurious that I can slip my camera bag in, lipstick in it, and wallet in it, and it only gets better with more wear. And it’s practical for a day running around a city you’re just getting to know. My first day in Kuala Lumpur began with a delicious breakfast at the beautiful Majestic Hotel, followed by a visit to my cousin’s home with my aunt for a night of Steam Boat…my favorite meal. It’s a hot pot on a table, and all you do is dip whatever you want in it. Noodles. Tofu. Vegetables. Even in this crazy heat, we can take more spice! I kept things extra minimal with a full look from Neiman Marcus. A throw-on-and-go velvet maxi dress and satin slippers. I’ve been easing through my first hot, hot day in Malaysia. Our adventure has just begun.
