I’m all about the basics lately. Black leather jacket. Levi’s 501 jeans that I snipped the ankles off of. Navy blue duster. But it’s always in the accessories that I get funky. The Coach spring 2015 collection is all about NEON. Highlighter yellow is officially in again.
Coach Spring ’15 continues to rock my world with their playful new vibe. Completely inspired by a journey across America. The idea of picking up things along the way. Maybe it’s the neon knit sweater on your pit-stop in Arizona, that vintage fur coat you found at a pawn shopin Vegas. That patchwork denim jacket that was thrown over the stage in Austin, Texas that you somehow ended up wearing home that night. Coach Spring ’15 embodies all of that, with a refined twist. It’s about driving through the suburbs with your top down, in nothing but your mom’s vintage skirt and platform shoes from the 70’s, ready to take on the night. Being an LA kid, I get nostalgic thinking of these coming-of-age adventures.
There’s been so much excitement lately around Coach. I’m super stoked to be a part of the family! Day 1 of NYFW for me started off with the Coach Fall ’15 show…always a favorite, surprising me everytime thanks to Stuart Vever’s epic new vision, transforming this household name of a brand into something really special, edgy, and fresh. This NYFW has been so smooth sailing. Maybe it’s from experience, and learning to just chill, despite the numb of our fingers and toes. The snow has been absolutely beautiful, making streetstyle shots breathtaking. But I always have that sigh of relief the moment I’m squeezed in the front row. Anything to be warm right? I’ve been throwing this giant coat from my friend’s Chelsea store, ANTHOM, over just about everything. I loved it with my leather blue mod mini from the Coach Spring ’15 collection. Blue on blue. These princess metallic slingbacks just the icing on the cake. I’m in love with the retro chunky heel that click-clacks with every step. It’s official, the 70’s are back.

SHOW TIME. Coach Fall ’15 was RAD, beyond words. The shearling jackets with words “WANTED” on the back. Shoulder bags stating “LUCKY” across the front. I love these subtle statement pieces. Bandanas tied closely to the neck, you’d make any biker babe jealous. It’s cheeky, but so rock n’ roll cool. I love that “don’t mess with me” attitude, given a super chic take. Hell’s angels down the catwalk….who in no way will be needing an attitude adjustment.

The 70’s aviator is BACK. And better than ever thanks to Coach. The brown tint taking me to an alternate universe, transporting me back to the days when Bob Dylan’s words were all that could teach you a lesson, and Mick Jagger’s twist of his hips was some sort of religion. Lately, I’ve been all about these accessories that are inspired by our favorite rock legends. Even the accent of a feather. This Coach Fall ’14 necklace a constant reminder to live free, and always allow yourself to get lifted off your feet. Now, I can’t wait to show you what’s in store for Spring.
