It seems I might finally be over the jet lag. I’m no longer falling asleep at approximately 7 PM over my dinner plate and waking up at 3 AM. I have finally detoxed and got my appetite back after 2 full weeks of indulging in far too much naan curry laksa for breakfast and banana leaf for dinner. I’ve caught up on sleep, daily face masks, and the occasional trip to the gym. It’s rough getting back into routine sometimes when there’s so much going on! I have so many wonderful stories to tell you from my adventures in Southeast Asia, but I’ll get there (along with some insane images) once I finally catch up on a swamp full of work followed by the getting back in the fast-paced NYC groove. Election day has given all of America anxiety and I’ve been glued to the TV just like everyone else. Breathe in. Breathe out. It’s up to us to be positive and take control of our country’s destiny by simply believing in ourselves. That we won’t be self destructive or stupid. If we behave as good citizens and stand up for what we believe in. If we voice our opinions. If we can support our own communities and stay united as human beings….we might really be ok. By working together and being understanding. That’s pretty much my mantra for life. We’re America and there’s nothing we can’t do. So here I am just a stones throw from house in my most natural state. I stopped wearing too much makeup. I’m wearing a lot more denim. And of course, I am back on the biker jacket scene. This one by All Saints is a serious dream. Get it here.
