Currently missing the gingham, the bikinis, and crochet dresses of a perfect Spanish summer. This year has brought the most amazing travels to me and I have so much gratitude for my work that allows me to be flown all over the world. Barcelona has a bohemian feel that I love to just dive right into during the summer months. I could be strolling Las Ramblas in a cropped halter top and low slung jean, or the streets of Sitges in my favorite simple black bikini. The free spirit, undone part of me loves this special city.

I love a hot, Spanish summer. I remember traveling to Barcelona for work on my own as a teenager, modeling and landing my first international jobs. Some of my very first projects were shot here and it has been over ten years since I’ve been back. I’ll always remember that feeling of traveling on my own and feeling so grown up. That first feeling of independence and pure curiosity for the world, always soaking it up from my balcony. To come back now to this city now, and with family, is a dream. The energy is just incredible here at the beautiful Mandarin Oriental Barcelona and I loved mornings and nights spent up here on my balcony. It even had it’s own glamorous hot tub. I had a view of Casa Batlló. I would meditate early each morning before the chaos began below on Passeig de Gràcia. I got to see the entire city light up with fireworks as Spain won the Eurocup. I just love how Barcelona feels when you have a reason to shout from the rooftops!
