Today was nothing but a radiant day at the Waldorf Astoria, Beverly Hills where Dylana and I checked into the gorgeous Clé de Peau Beauté villa suite. I was blown away by the welcoming, sunny space. Gorgeous open windows, with sunlight drenching every corner of each room. The decadent packaging of the products twinkled in the bathroom…I couldn’t wait to get my hands on them.

I began with prepping my skin with the dazzling new collection…each bottle designed to resemble gemstones, all full of luster and shine. Lately, every night, I’ve been testing the product and lathering on a smooth layer of the Clé de Peau Beauté firming serum supreme, and topped it off with their la crème and amazing eye cream. These high performance products feel like butter on my skin. I met with the team to match with my perfect foundation (I happen to be shade 020) and delicately dabbed on a little concealer in my t-zone. What I love about their makeup is that it doubles as a cream…it’s that hydrating and nourishing. I finished off my natural look with a simple swipe of highlighter (I recommend going for their luminizing face enhancer in Pastel) to the edges of my cheekbones and found my perfect lipstick shade, Clé de Peau Beauté Desert Rose lipstick. What I noticed most about this luxurious collection is that it enhances your natural beauty. You don’t look too done up. With an afternoon at one of the most gorgeous hotels in all of Los Angeles, I managed to squeeze in a little time by the pool. I love feeling like I’m having a spa experience in my own home. If I’m having a long and stressful day, I honestly can’t wait to get home, wipe off my makeup, and put on a face mask because come on, face masks fix everything…mentally and physically. I happen to take my nightly skincare routine very seriously. My skin has always affected my mood. If I’m having a clear day, everything is sunshine. If I see a blemish, all hell breaks loose. Summer is coming to a close, I’ve been focusing more on the texture of my skin because luckily, my break-out phase has surprisingly faded through the years. It’s now that time of year to remove all the dead skin on my surface and reveal the new! Lately, I’ve decided it’s about time I start really taking care of my lips. Having supple, luscious lips is the key to any amazing makeup look. Always start with taking care and protecting your skin before applying more makeup. My #1 rule to get rid of dry, chapped lips? Exfoliate, protect, and hydrate. Hydrating meaning always have a moisturizing base before you put on any lipstick. I am such a beauty junkie. I just got back to New York City, and realized I had a giant tote bag of makeup I’ve collected this year. So many unopened packages and newly released products from my favorite brands I work with. That perfect, sparkling gold makeup palettes…a new shade for a new season. Those tubes of lipsticks in every single shade of red and pink. Those serums, creams, and sleeping masks promising a younger, more beautiful complexion. Believe me, I’ve tried it all. From getting my eyes jabbed at on set with the makeup artist…to taking those tips to my bathroom at home. I did learn one thing: less is certainly more. Especially for us girls on the go. So what do I carry if I’m pulling an all-nighter? I like to focus on the simple things. The eyes and the lips. But it always starts with perfect skin:

-Sunday Riley Juno serum and Good Genes treatment. These little magical potions are so worth every penny.

-Stila 10 in 1 beauty balm for coverage and sun protection. I normally use this under CoverGirl’s Aquafresh (I’ve used it ever since grade school. And what doesn’t break me out, is what I stick with. It’s the easiest compact ever.)

-Everything DR. JART. Because this Korean doctor know what he’s doing when it comes to skin perfection.

-Tom Ford Lips & Boys. Currently wearing the orange/red RAFAEL. I love how each shade is inspired by one of the boys in his life. This firey color is super fun.

Lately, I’ve traded in my liquid liner cat-eye look for some subtle shimmer, and a bare face. It totally brings out the color in your eyes, and I think the shimmer looks super fresh and pretty. I use my fingers from the Aerin palette and use the light brown shimmer all over the lid, and spreading out. Using the dark shadow on the outer corners, and on lower lids. It’s a sublte, more sultry way to give a cat-eye look. But most importantly? The lashes. Curl them daily, with a little bit of mascara.

Complete with a pop of lip, and a twist of your messy locks and you can easily go from the work meeting to the dance floor. A quick overnight fix.
