There is still nothing more classic than a black patent loafer. M. Gemi shoes from Italy make some of the best flats. Simplicity at it’s finest. Luckily in California, I can go barelegged to the next holiday party. These shoes are something I can wear to the airport, and immediately step into a meeting once I hop off the plane. They’re my sophisticated go-to shoes that are timeless and will never go out of style. Next to the perfect M. Gemi “stellato” black flat, I love a striped turtleneck, and suede shift dress. A little bit Jane Birkin minimalism with a swipe of your favorite nude lipstick. Now that’s the way to go.
