I wore this iconic House of Gilles couture sequin dress at The Carlyle for dinner with the designers, Gilles and Chloe Mendel, during bridal week to celebrate their new shoe collection with Casadei. Two father/daughter, family run fashion houses that I absolutely love! This special dress is so me: a super simple silhouette with extravagant detailing. Thank you to La Maison for a very special evening.

// Khoon Hooi gown // 

I took out this gorgeous Khoon Hooi taffeta gown to the Elit Vodka cocktail party to celebrate their award as “Best Vodka of the Year.” Think lots of custom cocktails and chic evening attire at Zero Bond. It feels brand new to dress up in something so special. There’s something about the color lavender that made me gravitate towards this dress, and the story behind it. Khoon Hooi is an amazing couture designer from Malaysia. While half of my family is in Kuala Lumpur, it’s so nice having something so beautiful from Malaysia right here in my closet in New York. I love how our worlds and cultures can really come together thanks to one dress.

This is THE dress that caused quite a bit of hype on the gram this past week. It’s beautiful isn’t it? I love it’s corset cut and rope detailing. It’s a special piece by Renwa Yassin and it’s waiting for it’s official debut outside the home. The opportunities to wear it are endless in my mind. RENWA is both a combination of minimal with couture. This designer combines these styles so seamlessly. Where would you wear this piece?
