The Akris FW 2021 collection debut happens to fall today on International Women’s Day and therefore, we are celebrating the inner strength of women through fashion. As a woman, I find it important to discover one’s worth. To value and respect ourselves. To love ourselves and our flaws. To never give up on a dream and on our goals. To be resilient. To turn our pain into progress. We face a challenge and give it a wink. I am proud to be a woman with purpose. Let’s grow. Let’s evolve. Let’s stick together.

Paris Fashion Week came and went, with most of us taking our front row seats in front of our computer screens from home. AKRIS launched their Spring/Summer 2021 show a bit differently this season. Rather than a runway show, AKRIS came out with a beautiful work of art, an exclusive film directed by award-winning director Anton Corbijn. Think neon lights, beautiful silhouettes, and pops of color. I love how creative designers are getting in showcasing their collections this year. To support, I threw on this totally luxurious Akris leather suit from the Fall 2020 runway. Gave it a red lip, and let the extra oversize and long pant leg fall over a good pair of loafers. Fitted on top. Slouchy at the bottom. Just the way I like it. The woven leather tote is a new addition to my closet. A timeless piece that is waiting to travel the world with me.
