I mix and match my Vuori at all times. It’s my weekend uniform for pilates, yoga, and daily jogs. I’ll even toss on a kitten heel to switch into date night for evenings because that’s just what New Yorkers do. We’re multi-tasking. We’re walking 24/7. I’m always up and moving and I like my wardrobe to reflect that. A good workout set reminds me to tune in with my body. This is a season of feeling energetic and alive.

FAENA New York brings the flair and glamour of Buenos Aires into the city with splashes of bold red and pops of leopard. This is the artistic and vibrant energy I needed to begin the new season. It’s the perfect home base in the heart of Chelsea with amazing live Latin music, tons of color, and a lot of soul. It’s inspiring me to plan a trip to Argentina. 

For now, I’ll be right here, lounging in luxurious velvets, white denim, and my favorite cashmere red sweater. It’s all about texture play. This feels like a playful city escape and I love using my wardrobe to blend right in.

I have been rushing between shows as fashion week has come to an end, but I’m still making time to indulge. My partnership with Carbone Fine Food has been so much fun to photograph and it’s an easy go-to sauce to always have in the house. A plate of Carbone Fine Food Tomato Basil sauce pasta is the energy boost I need. So simple and delicious, topped off with fresh basil and parmesan. A few images shot at the charming Pendry Natirar, a newly transformed manor and farm just outside the city. Dressing for the countryside is all about layering up luxurious textures in all of my favorite neutrals. For day, think cable knit sweaters, shearling, and suedes. For night, it’s all about slipping into elegant silk sets in beautiful jewel tones. Everything should feel soft to touch and pair well with a glass of wine.

My workouts flow and change all the time although they are consistently a blend of pilates and yoga and dance. Most of the time, I don’t follow a class or set routine. I just do what I feel my body needs in that moment, without overdoing it. In the summer, I was running and biking outdoors. In the winter, I’m walking uphill on the treadmill for as long as I feel like it. As the seasons change, so does the way I feel like moving. It’s winter and we’re hibernating and I’m doing anything to stay warm. Vuori’s AllTheForm™ set in Riviera Blue is the calmest color, and in the most buttery soft fabric. I’m living in it.
