Happy New Year my loves! It just so happens to be the Year of the Horse and the horse is my Chinese zodiac. So yes, I’m going into 2026 like it is MY YEAR. Momentum. Movement. Fun. The horse represents all the things I want to call in. The horse is fast paced and alive and strong and ready for anything. I can’t wait to celebrate this Chinese New Year in a new cheongsam in a room with all of my favorite people and plates of longevity noodles and dumplings. The new year is already bringing me a lot of warm weather travels and a lot of incredible work projects. But before we go full force, this is the last month of the Year of the Snake. It’s the perfect time to shed, cleanse, write, and focus on a feng shui reset. Looking inwards before moving forward with intention. It’s time for a brand new energy, and in a new dress of course. It’s nearly winter and the perfect time for me to make my nyc loft feel extra serene and tranquil. Sun down at home is my favorite time of day. My home gets this beautiful champagne gold glow through my sheer linen drapes. I’m a lot more of a minimalist these days in all aspects of my life and I love how clean and fresh my bedroom feels right now. This space is my sanctuary. Slipping into a silk robe and fresh white Lulu & Georgia sheets from their new home collection feels like a perfect start to the weekend. I’ve been absolutely nonstop with work this month here in NYC, so being home in this sunny spot is my little escape from the rest of the world.

Dressing up as Barbie at home in this beautiful set. I love this summer’s pink phenomenon surrounding the movie. I do own a lot of pink! It brings back so many childhood memories, playing make-believe with my sister and our Barbie dolls, and just being totally wrapped up, in love with them. Some of our Barbies were elegant and some of our Barbies were eccentric. It was a perfect combination.

Sometimes I really do blend into my home decor. My love for interior design and fashion really do go hand in hand. There are some days I’m inspired by what’s in my home and vice versa. Life is just art, isn’t it? Black and white is an easy go-to for me, and you really can’t go wrong with a RASARIO dress. I love this unique combination. A super sleek dress gets an unexpected wow factor once you look down at my boots. Neutrals can still be extra fun if you just get a little creative and look around you.

I worked with Lulu & Georgia on a super cool guest room edit, just for you! This is a room in my loft that I’ve been really excited to renovate and freshen up. After a fresh coat of paint in a clean off-white, I went straight to the decor. I gave my guest room and bath crisp linen bedding, light oak wood cabinets, and chic brass lighting. These soft colors make this space feel much more clean and bright. Guest room just got homey. Shop my favorites below.

I got to site down with the Lulu & Georgia team here at home for an interview to discuss chic holiday decor, how I ended up in Dumbo, and the perks of having your sister and best friend as your neighbor, living in the same building in fact! When browsing the Lulu & Georgia site, I went for pieces I knew I’d keep forever when shopping for my holiday decor, with a very minimal approach. That’s my mindset whenever I’m decorating or picking up new pieces. To keep it minimal but merry, I just added a little green with a eucalyptus garland, fresh flowers, and some beautiful mood lighting.

Maybe invest in a timeless chandelier or table lamp. Centerpieces always add an artistic element to your holiday decor that feels timeless but fun.

My tip is to keep your decor elegant, with a less is more approach. The cake stand is a really special and cool piece because everyone loves dessert, and it’s beautiful. I kept my color palette mostly gray and beige, with little pop with the red ranunculus. The wine glasses in blush are elevated but still understated, which I love.

I worked on a very special project with The Shade Store to update my home and I am in love with the final result! My installation is complete and my home feels so beautiful and totally refreshed. New drapery and shades was exactly what my windows needed. I hope you enjoyed being taken around during the entire design process: feeling the Holland & Sherry fabric swatches sent directly to my home, stopping by the beautiful showroom here in Dumbo, Brooklyn to work with my local design consultant, to the final installation. The team was so professional and really aimed for perfection when it came to what I was envisioning, which was to brighten up my loft and really make my windows stand out.

It’s like sitting on a cloud and trust me, I’ll be enjoying this baby many years to come.
