DKNY CITY SURFING CAMPAIGN

My DKNY City Surfing campaign has OFFICIALLY launched! Every week, the DKNY.COM homepage will feature my new look, with a different CITY vibe. This week? It’s all about the CITY UNIFORM. Mine being the incredible NEW YORK CITY. I took the classic sporty vibe of the 90’s Chrystie Street basketball courts and made it my own in the studio, with a black and white graphic tank and sheer boyfriend shorts, worn low on my hips. Just the right amount of CROP TOP for summer! And yes, BUCKET HATS are making a major come-back. I’m never getting rid of mine. So yes, my CITY UNIFORM is black on black with a tomboy twist.

HAPPY-GO-LUCKY

Omg, it feels amazing to show LEG again. Everyday in NYC has gotten more and more beautiful gearing up for a hot summer. My apartment so bright every morning that I just open up the drapes and let the sun soak up the orchids by my window. With the happy-go-lucky spirit of the city, I’ve found myself floating around in fluttering blouses, and tiny denim rompers. That, and a walk in the park. JENNYER, always doing it right when it comes to the summer pieces. Ya know, with that French JE NAIS SE QUOI. Baby blues, sheer whites, and VELVET are my newest obsessions lately. I’m all about the basics and one-pieces that get me dressed in about 2 minutes flat.

DON’T RAIN ON MY PARADE

Nothing beats a good ol’ pair of leather sneakers to beat a rainy day in the city. That, and loads of grey, white, and leather. I’ve just discovered AYR, and I fell madly and deeply in love with their slightly cropped skinny denim (ankles are coming back ya’ll) Not to mention, the perfect white button downs and cashmere and alpaca knits. Major OFF DUTY essentials for the NYC girl. Next I’ll need their classic and ankle length duster coats. That…and along with my trusty VEDA pebbled leather jacket and oversize tote. Neutrals win me over on gloomy drizzly days downtown. When you’ve got nothing to wear, wear this.
AYR alpaca sweater, easy white shirt, and cropped ciggie jeans. VEDA “punch” leather jacket. VANS leather sneakers.

LET’S GO SURFING NOW

General

There is seriously so much I love right now about the classic surf top. It’s a bit tomboy, but in this adorable floral print…it’s got a feminine, RETRO touch. With festival season, I’m trying to find as much time as possible by the pool. I’m still counting my bikinis, attempting to book a beach getaway for each pair. So far I’ve got Montauk on my list! This two-piece will surely look better with a surfboard and a tan. Here, I was shot in Palm Springs with all my galpals, at Coachella (where else?!) just before the festival madness. Nothing beats breakfast by the pool and the smell of chlorine on a sunny Saturday morning. 
NYC is finally warming up. Today felt like summer, and after my meetings, I sat in Central Park on the grass in nothing but a denim romper, and let the sun bronze my shoulders. I can officially smell HOT summer in the city. The sweat, the sunscreen. Time to get bikini ready my friends.
