A LITTLE BIT COUNTRY

// Preen dress (similar), Ming Ray handbag, Frye boots //

I think Dolly Parton would really love these boots. I’ve been listening to a lot of Dolly lately. Like “9 to 5” and “Jolene.” Her songs never get old, really. I dedicate this look to her, the coolest country girl ever. This is a look I would have thrown together on a Barbie doll as a kid. It’s just that playful. Nothing really goes, yet goes perfectly. I’m glad I can play life size Barbie anytime I want now.

GUCCI GIRLS IN SAN FRANCISCO | SUAREZ SISTERS

// on me: Gucci dress, Louis Vuitton bag, Reike Nen shoes (similar). on Dylana: Gucci dress (similar), Chanel bag, Malone Soulier heels (similar) //

Gucci girls. I miss our San Francisco adventures from fall. We were in town for our Ritz-Carlton project and we found it absolutely fabulous that the hotel is located right next to Chinatown, a place that always feels like home. We dressed up in complimenting Gucci looks for a classy afternoon tea at The Ritz-Carlton with our family before making our way through the bustling San Francisco streets. The sky was blue. The sun was out. Our outfits popped. San Francisco will always remind me of classic rock n’ roll and I really think these outfits are Jimi Hendrix approved. He definitely would have appreciated a little leopard love.

AQUA MARINE TEAL | BEAUTY

// Laura Mercier “Nights Out” eye palette //

There are some nights that call for eclectic makeup. I love this aqua marine teal eyeshadow by Laura Mercier for any kind of celebration. It’s the perfect look for nights on the dance floor under the disco ball. It’s rock n’ roll, it’s a bit 80’s, and it’s just pure fun. I find this color to work on anybody. Keep the rest of the face bare with a classic rosy lip and a touch of highlighter on the cheekbones. Below you can shop some of my luxurious favorites used in this look from the Pat McGrath Labs foundation and to the Rodin illuminating powder

FASHION MONTH AHEAD!

// Preen dress (similar), Chanel handbag from Rebag, Karen Walker sunglasses (similar), Emilio Cavallini tights, Pedro Garcia shoes //

New York Fashion is quickly approaching. I’m already buzzing around the city going to fittings for some very exciting front row fun with my favorite designers. I’ll be keeping things low maintenance as usual whether it be backstage or on the red carpet. Shoes that I can actually walk in. Clean, fresh makeup. Oh, but a statement bag for sure. September FW was a blast. I don’t think I took a moment’s breather, but that’s how I like it. This is a flashback to September, where you could find me out on the town in feminine dresses by Preen and a socks/sandal combination. Then again, dressing for the winter is my absolute favorite. This season will be all about statement outerwear, gloves, and fuzzy hats. Who is ready to cozy up in the front row?
