GATEWAY TO PARADISE: ST. REGIS PUNTA MITA

// Hollie Watman bikini //

I love reconnecting with my roots with every single trip to Mexico. So far we’ve hit up the eclectic scene and beaches of Tulum along with the incredible food and history we found in Mexico City, where my grandfather is from. For this very much needed girl’s trip, we planned an escape to the stunning property of the St. Regis Punta Mita. It feels extra private, and we felt like we could unplug the moment we walked into our villa. It was exactly what we were looking for! Hidden behind large gates, Punta Mita is like it’s own little world. Punta Mita actually means “gateway to paradise” in Aztec. We were in town to shoot a few summer campaigns, but we still managed to plop down on a lounge chair, hit up the spa, get massages, and do our nightly ritual, soak in the hot tub after dinner. I honestly don’t find anything more relaxing than hearing the sounds of the waves as I crawl into bed each night. I’ve stayed at a few of the St. Regis properties around the world for work, like earlier this year in Rome with the Fendi team! What I love most is how each property stays so true to the local heritage from the architecture to the food. Guacamole please! But honestly, this was a real treat for us after what felt like the longest NYC winter of all time. Resort season is here and I can finally brush up on my Spanish.

MODA OPERANDI X SUAREZ SISTERS EDITORIAL

// shop all pieces below from Moda Operandi //

There are so many days where I walk out of the house to meet Dylana and we’re wearing almost the exact same thing, yet somehow we pull it off completely differently. We’re sisters. We’ve got that sister thing where we have the same eye and know what the other one likes. For our Moda Operandi x Suarez Sisters feature, the team tested our similarities and pulled out a great Givenchy black blazer/pant and Danse Lente bag in the studio. Both classics that we adore, to be styled any which way we chose. You’ll notice our love for beautiful tailoring though Dylana went for pops of color, while I kept things easy with statement neutrals. Speaking of neutrals, can we quickly talk about this Oscar de la Renta feather top and silk pant? I have never felt better in anything else. In this shoot, you’ll notice we’re supporting some of our favorite designer labels. Loads of Prada, Zimmermann, Malone Souliers, and more. On Moda Operandi we can shop our favorites pieces just days after the collections are showcased on the runway. How cool is that?

Dylana is currently out of town for her wedding anniversary and it looks like I’m hopping into the week without my other half, but only for a few more days! But that means more time for you guys and keeping you updated on everything that’s been happening lately. So much. Stay tuned.
