CLASH DE CARTIER LAUNCH PART 1!

ROYAL versus REBEL? REALITY versus FANTASTY? Dylana and I were in Paris with the Cartier team for one of the brand’s biggest jewelry launches, Clash de Cartier! We had a few days of press appointments and brainstorming meetings in preparation of the campaign launch. Celebrities, influencers, and editors from all over the world flew in to be the very first to get access to this exclusive launch. To kick things off, Dylana and I shot this iconic Clash de Cartier ring in four major style clashes, all of which have been slowly been released this month. Our next #ClashdeCartier series is launching on Monday and I can’t wait for you to see more! For now, here is part 1 of our campaign. This spiky gold ring has multiple personalities, and I love how it embraces opposites, clashes, and contrasts. For our photoshoot, I am royal, while Dylana is rebel, yet we find harmony in gorgeous yellow ensembles on both sides of the style spectrum. You’ll also see that I am reality, while Dylana is fantasy. Honestly, I’m normally caught between the two clashes, keeping my feet firmly on the ground while also daring to dream. My sister and I represent both sides separately, yet we’re always tied together with our Clash de Cartier ring. Opposites attract in the best way.

BECOMING A MERMAID FOR ANNA SUI FANTASIA

// Anna Sui Spring ’19 Ready-to-Wear + Anna Sui x Teva flatform sandals //

I got to become a mermaid for the launch of Anna Sui’s Fantasia Mermaid fragrance launch. Iridescent with a mix of sea foam green and blue. Dreamy. This is one fragrance that lets my imagination run wild all summer long and I had so much fun shooting this campaign by the water in my home of Dumbo, Brooklyn. Sweet, floral, and fruity, it’s made for waterfront picnics. I’m also featuring my top two favorite looks straight from the Anna Sui Spring 2019 Ready-to-Wear runway. This is one runway show that really makes my heart skip a beat. It’s always one of the very last shows during NYFW, and it takes me back to the 60’s. The music. The colors. The hair. Always rock n’ roll, mysterious, and eclectic. There’s no other designer like her and I think that’s what makes her an icon. Dylana and I have loved her for years and years as young girls and to now work with her and be a part of her vision is a dream. You should also take a peep at the Anna Sui x Teva flatform sandals here. Adventure meets high fashion. May summer be one laying out in the sun oceanside.

AT HOME WITH ELLE DECOR

“What I love most about my Dumbo, Brooklyn, loft is the spacious chef’s kitchen. It’s the center of my home and perfect for entertaining. I love how clean and bright the design is, but with a play on colors like a soft blue island paired with bright red barstools.”

I’m having a total pinch me moment. My feature on my home for ELLE Decor! I’m sharing a few more outtakes from our shoot to give you a little peek into my space. You’ll find little pops of color like red and baby blue, as well as a mix of old and new that gives me a sense of balance when I’m home. I like to stick true to it’s lofty, industrial design with a really cozy, modern feel. My home feels lived in but at the same time feel like a breath of fresh air for me. As my style evolves, so does my home. I’m always finding ways to update it, like this new couch (mine is from Interior Define) or a new rug. My home is an endless project that I never want to end 🙂

“I love a real statement piece like a dining table that brings people together. My dining table and chairs have an elegant design, with a minimalistic approach. This set is so heavy and amazing that it will be with me for a long time. The soft gray leather dining chairs were also custom-made.”

“My loft is industrial-chic, with a modern, elegant touch. I had the pipes painted red for a pop of color against all the wood and concrete accents. It’s a space that feels lived-in with a super open-concept layout. It feels eclectic with all of the unique custom chairs and large L-shaped sofa by Interior Define. The fur statement chair is by Stewart-Schafer and the table is from High Fashion Home.

“My home feels airy and bright, thanks to the custom glass sliding doors leading to the bedroom. The space has views of the Empire State Building and Williamsburg Bridge. It feels like a real home with that classic loft vibe in the most charming area of New York City. The vibrant pink velvet chair gives this very minimal and zen space a playful feel.”

PRADA FLOWERS

Prada top // Sonia Rykiel blazer // Boyy bag // And Other Stories pant // Miista boot // Rag & Bone sunglasses

This new Prada floral print is one of my favorites of the season. A modern 70’s inspired bloom in a color palette that really just goes with just about everything…like a million other prints! A plaid Sonia Rykiel oversize blazer. Striped trousers from And Other Stories (I swear by their trousers. The fit is fabulous). And a multi-colored Boyy bag. BOOM. It’s doesn’t get more funky than this. But you know what, it works. This is certainly a power look that will make all of Financial District turn their heads. I need this power mood all week long. I’ve got conference calls  a jam-packed calendar. Time to put my A game on…it always begins with my outfit.
