DATE NIGHT DENIM

true-religion-night-out-1

Even when I’m headed out to a night that requires me to whip out my highest platform heels, I somehow manage to dress it all down with denim. The True Religion Cora Mid-Rise jean is a unique shade of blue with a slight fade that I just love. Best cuffed, and with something oversize on the top. Like a bohemian tunic blouse, and black silk scarf. Somehow I got caught on 42nd street, hailing a cab down to dinner at the West Village. Always running late. Always heading across town.

#BEGIANT

For me, a lot of my looks are about comfort. I’m a traveler and explorer, so I am always on the move. I always just want that certain something that I can cuddle in. That’s how I fell in love with American Giant. They just launched their newest hoodie, The Essential, and I’m in love with the fall hues. It’s a slim, sexy fit, and definitely the softest hoodie ever made. The Essential is made of Supima cotton and Modal Fiber. Supima cotton being the highest quality American-grown cotton on the market. The Modal adds that luster and smoothness. Trust me, you have got to feel this hoodie. I like mine best styled with a pair of skinny jeans, American Giant tee-shirt, and neck scarf.

I’m super stoked to be a part of the #BeGiant campaign highlighting cool women, doing cool things. See more here.

THE METALLIC SUIT | NYFW

jill-stuart-natalie-suarez-4

I stepped out in this glittering ensemble in the morning of NYFW, and woah, did I reflect off the sun with full force. Thank you Jill Stuart for fitting me into this rock n’ roll set just before the show! When I went to go meet my sister Dylana, the first thing she said was “woah, that is super Mick Jagger.” This metallic striped blazer and skirt were made for shimmying on stage and twinkling under the disco ball. So I kept the rest simple with a leather choker, and simple lace bodysuit. Jill’s show was just everything I’d want for next spring. Pastel silks, lace jumpsuits, and beautiful off the shoulder ruffled tops. Romantic, but with that cool-girl edge.

NYFW DAY 1

nyfw-day-1-5

NYFW flew by extra fast! I’m finally working on getting up everything I’ve got documented for you all while juggling all of my other projects. For Day 1, I went with this beautiful crisp white shirt. But it’s not just any shirt. I got this baby thanks to my pals at VEDA. You know how I always wear their leather jackets?! Well, they did an amazing twist on the classic white shirt, by giving it some serious length. It could even double as a wrap dress. It was muggy out, so I just throw on my favorite pair of vintage Levi’s shorts and a choker. There’s Dylana and I bright and early en route to the BCBGMaxazria show. Always the first show every season. Here goes!
