We are on YOUTUBE

Dylana, my partner in crime, and I have found our new obsession. And that is: VIDEO. We just started a brand new YOUTUBE CHANNEL, so be sure to click and follow! We’ll be making more and more fun films. Music videos. Travel stories. Lookbook videos. I can’t wait to show what we have in store for the new year! With iMovie, we’re ready to share more of our tales and inspirations, because everything’s better IN MOTION. Here, is a video we made during Miami Swim Week. I can’t wait to walk that runway again next season…and get that dew on our faces. The best.

BERLIN CRAWL

street22resizedI miss Berlin. Our endless food crawl, picture taking, and tiresome feet. The unknown little nooks we ended up in, all worth the walk. Berlin beer. Crepes for dinner. Unlimited wine tastings. The Anne Frank museum. My new year’s resolution is to continue exploring, and never stay in one place. Luckily, my job has always allowed me to go wherever I feel! Traveling is a rush, and so worth the “I can’t open my eyes but I will anyways” feeling in the morning at your hotel. There’s always something to look forward to. Like Dad always says “The road is always better than the inn.”  I’m currently making my pal Sabrina stamp that on one of my new cuffs as a daily reminder. It’s the journey that counts.

BEFORE THE NIGHT

sullivan3

It’s funny how quickly I miss home in NYC whenever I’m traveling. The twinkling lights of the city from my windows. The yellow cabs zooming by always… accomodating to our “I need to get there NOW” schedule. The eclectic style and people. The music at the back of the bar. I never get bored, and I never want that to change. My senses always on overdrive. Always overwhelmed (happily), always exploring. It’s the dream. I guess NYC will be my home forever…in between wherever the wind takes me. Things happen when you least expect it. But my favorite hour in NYC is before the night. Just as the sun is going down and the light begins to dim. Like here, on Sullivan Street. An hour to meet with friends before going out into the cobblestone shadowed streets. Who really knows where you will end up or who you’ll meet in a New York minute?!

In between the holiday madness, I’m currently dreaming up New Years. I can’t wait for a brand new start. An even better, brighter new year. Like every new year I say, “how can this one top the last?!” but it always does.

TOMBOY COOL

rtholiday2resized

I seem to always manage to tomboy up even the most feminine and luxurious pieces. Like this Rebecca Taylor nubby pastel sweater and printed silk culottes. Best with a simple pair of black sneakers, and my favorite backpack customized and handmade in Paris by the lovely Jerome Boccino. Skater girl to the max.
