UGG 35th Anniversary Collection Photoshoot// UGG 1978
That’s right! It’s UGG Australia’s 35th Anniversary, and we will all be celebrating tonight in 70’s style! I’ve been excited to share with you my UGG 1978 shoot…shot in upstate New York. I knew this was a shoot that I’d be in love with. The 70’s is my jam. You don’t want to know how many times people tell me I should have lived in that era. The big floppy hats, the deep purple velvet, the victorian lace so close to the neckline…all things you’d immediately spot in my wardrobe. Here, I’m featuring all UGG shoes, as well as accessorizing with their apparel. You really just can’t go wrong with sheepskin, leather, suedes, and a good pair of sneakers this season. For our shoot, I channeled three of my top favorite looks:
-The top being super menswear inspired…something you’d see on Keith Richard’s girlfriend in the 70′s.  The girl that’s androgynous and everyone’s dying to be. A newsboy hat (my newest addiction), matching striped pantsuit, tucked into a flat lace-up boot.
-Something so classic for me. It’s all about Janis Joplin and Jimi Hendrix. The white lace and velvet underground…all items I’d cover my apartment with. A mini drawstring bag, extra large floppy black hat, and chunky sheepskin boots. So soft, my feet melt.
-The last look being oh so, VARSITY. Something you’d seen on the cheerleaders during a midnight showing of GREASE. The youthful excitement of wearing a hiked up miniskirt, your boyfriend’s jacket, some ripped sheer stockings, and your favorite sneakers.
I had way too much fun taking control as stylist and playing dress-up.
SHOP the UGG 35th Anniversary Collection and go back in time with me.

(also featuring Citizens of Humanity pantsuit, Daydreamer white tee, Worth & Worth newsboy hat, Free People lace dress (similar) and velvet jacket, Vintage varsity jacket, PAIGE plaid blouse, Bardot black skirt, Kamryn Dame cuffs)
