Smart Dressing: Red on Red

(Vintage blazer, White + Warren blouse, By Corpus shorts, Chanel bag, Bronx shoes, Vintage Rayban sunglasses)

Right now I am very into the masculine, tailored look for spring. This is my definition of smart dressing. This day I went with red on red, one of my favorite combinations. It is very classic and put-together. Here I am back home in LA, but I see myself wearing this on the streets of NYC as well. I feel a wool blazer and silk button up is such perfect street style for any city. I love how the scarlet red hue just pops! I also went with my favorite Chanel bag. I love the supple quilted leather and large silver chains. It screams heavy duty yet I try to wear this bag only on special occasions. I’d hate to destroy this baby by wearing it too much!

Floral in Philadelphia

(Urban Outfitters scarf, Mango leather jacket, White + Warren blouse, Jil Sander trousers, Mango bag, Ferragamo flats)

Out for ice cream with my sister Dylana and new friend/fellow blogger, Kim of Eat Sleep Wear!

CHI CHI TOWN! Yeah!

Getting major air in Old Town!

I spent this past weekend in Philadelphia, visiting my lovely sister, Dylana, who just moved there for her job at Free People! I’m so happy I got to visit after my time in New York. The weather was a bit gloomy during my stay, but it in no way stopped us from having a great time. Through Dylana, I met another adorable blogger, Kim of Eat Sleep Wear, and we all became such great friends! This gorgeous girl is super sweet and invited us over for drinks and a delicious pasta dinner! For the day out on my feet, helping Dylana apartment hunt, I made sure to wear a few layers to stay comfortable. I paired a great pair of trousers with a button up, a leather jacket, a floral scarf, and my Ferragamo flats (which happen to always travel in my suitcase with me). Very classic and great for a day out on the town! That night, we went out for ice cream at this super adorable little parlor in Old City. From there, we snapped a few night shots on the gorgeous cobblestone streets before the rain poured down so hard on us that we had to stop and wait it out by a store window. A complete stranger even walked by and handed us 2 umbrellas. Ohh, Philadelphians get me everytime haha! The city is super quaint and beautiful. Many more photos from my stay to come!

Threadsence Feature + Video!

(Dylana and I both wearing Threadsence)

Here are a few snapshots from our brunch with the Threadsence team. They are all super sweet and took us out to Urth Cafe in Santa Monica for a fun blogger get together! I met everyone at Threadsence while in Vegas for the Magic trade show, and from there we have kept in contact and became great friends! We also met up two other stellar bloggers, Liz and Raych. They are both so much fun! I couldn’t have asked for better, or more beautiful, company! For our morning out, I wore a simple dotted crop top and fringe cardigan, both by Threadsence. It was such a sunny day out in Santa Monica so luckily I had this shawl to wrap around my arms! Overall, it was a gorgeous, clear day on the Westside. Vu of Threadsence also recorded some very candid video footage of us throughout the day. I love it!

My gorgeous friend and model, Kasimira, looking classically off duty! (See her Tumblr HERE!)

My hotel room! Disco to the max baby!

Flight attire: striped top and a vintage hat!

Good Mornin NYC! Aren’t you pretty?

Early morning walk to Central Park! No makeup/bangs back/hobo attire. The best I’ll say 🙂

Subway to Greenwich!

Bleecker Street pizza. The best!

See? Models eat!

Just another night on the town in New York City with my good friend and fellow model, Kasimira! She is so so gorgeous and so TALL. My goodness, I’m 5’10 and she makes me feel like a midget! It was literally her second day in New York and so I showed her Times Square before subwaying it to Greenwich Village for my favorite pizza, Bleecker Street Pizza. I am so happy I got to meet up again with Kasimira after so long! She’s also a west coast native and so it was crazy getting together in the Big Apple. We became great friends a few years ago after walking in the Teen Vogue Marc Jacobs runway. Aww, memories! It was one of our first modeling gigs, back when we were so young and couldn’t help but bond over our love for Shia Labeouf HA (hit us up shia!)! I loved catching up on life while walking the city streets in search of waffles w/ ice cream. My place was near Times Square and so yaaa, we ended up with the classic McDonald’s ice cream cone! I’m going to miss trotting around the city with this awesome girl, but I’m sure we will meet up again when I’m back!
