Playful Parka

(My Pet Square dress, H&M Parka, Via Spiga boots, Obey ring)

Morning all! Weather here at home as been so beautiful lately. Warm and sunny. The wind has been kicking in though and I’m slightly sad that all the beautifully colored leaves will be falling, leaving them completely bare. I have been admiring the trees are around my house and taking snapshots of ones I never really took notice of before. Worth lugging around my huge camera for.

The wind, combined with the soft light of yesterday, was great for some photos of my outfit. Dylana tends to always capture the mood of the day perfectly with just a snapshot. I’m wearing a gorgeous beige dress by My Pet Square, an up and coming designer from New York. It has mesh detail with a really cool corset detail in the front. I love it. Cream is one of my favorite shades to wear! To dress it down, I threw on a rugged green parka. I liked making this perfect little dress a little less perfect. A grungy jacket along with a cleanly lined dressed creates one of my favorite looks.

I hope everyone’s weekend has been off to a great start. I got to attend a few holidays dinners with my family which was nice. I went a bit overboard with the chocolate. Happily overboard though! Today, I’m off to shoot with one amazing photographer/blogger, Sharon Gong. She’s so young and sooo talented. I’m such a huge fan of her work. Can’t wait to meet his lovely lady!!

Happy Holidays beautiful ones!

Eepers Creepers!

(Volcom cargo jacket/shirt/tank, Hudson Jeans, 80%20 ankle boots, Forever 21 necklace, Givenchy bag)

School for me ended yesterday and the holidays have arrived! I’ve been clearing out my desk, which has been covered with papers. Almost all of it ended in the trash bin. I love doing a nice clean-up and starting fresh. I look forward to having a lot more time working, traveling, and making music this coming year! Gonna be loads of fun baby!

Even more exciting were all the new clothes that arrived on my doorstep this week! It was such a nice surprise to see these 80%20 creeper ankle boots arrive early from New York! They are made with the most supple leather and have a hidden wedge, giving me a little added height (not exactly needed considering I’m a giant next to most people, but I love their monster stomp). They make any casual street outfit look out of this world. I’m also sporting an ultra-comfortable Volcom jacket, shirt, and tank. I love the cargo look of this jacket and shirt. Very utilitarian, tomboy, and tough. I did keep things a bit feminine with a girlish side braid and a matte plum pout.

I think it’s time to get this off my chest and finally announce that I’m the new Volcom ambassador! Crazy huh? I cannot believe I’ve been given this wonderful opportunity. Volcom is just such an amazing brand with an incredible team. I can’t wait to get working on all the projects. More details later!

Have a beautiful weekend everyone! Trees are golden and the weather has been stunning. I can’t wait to go outside!

Dear Santa,

Dear Santa,

It was extremely hard for me to browse these crazy sites online for items I would like to receive for the holidays. Maybe a red Proenza bag or sparkly shirt dress would do? I promise to be good and leave you a bucket of oatmeal raisin chocolate cookies (idk how to make them, but I could try)…oh and throw in a beige mohair cardi along with a velvet maxi skirt, and maybe just maybe you’ll receive a kiss.

(A girl can dream right?)

Touch of Leopard

(Volcom hat, Stylestalker blazer, Hudson Jeans tank and jeans, Via Spiga boots, Bally bag)

Dy took a few snapshots of my outfit after my casting. I went with a simple black and white outfit in skinnies and a tank by Hudson Jeans. This blazer is from the new Stylestalker collection and I love the long tail in the back…so unique! Very tomboy, but still feminine due to it’s slim fit. I had to throw on my Volcom leopard hat to complete this look. I’m quite obsessed with the print at the moment! So darn cute I must say! Btw, I just got behind the scenes images from my Fall ’11 Volcom shoot, and I’m excited to post them! Just waiting for the video to come out as well!

After my casting I got to do a bit of vintage shopping. Despite seeing tons of overly dressed hipsters lol, I did find an awesome coral colored cashmere/wool blazer. I’ll show it to ya soon! Days out with the sis never disappoint!
