Dress: Stylestalker, Shoes: Via Spiga

This gorgeous dress was given to me from the lovely designers of the brand Stylestalker. Australian designers Sue-Ann San and Rachel Zeilic really know their stuff and make incredible pieces of clothing that any woman can wear at affordable prices. Thank you so much Su-Ann and Rachel for sending me this beautiful piece! I am absolutely in love with fitted dresses at the moment! I could tell this body-con dress was of great quality the minute I put my hands on it: nice thick stretchy material which seriously hugs the body perfectly in all the right places! The sheer, one shoulder detail shows just the right amount of skin and adds the perfect touch! This dress is exactly what I’ve been looking for recently, it’s very Alice Dellal/Erin Wasson-y! You can’t go wrong with black sheer and a nice fit! I am looking forward to wearing it again out to special events, or dressed down with boots during the day. It’s definitely my new favorite dress! FYI, everything on the Stylestalker site is 50% off right now EEP!! I am loving their super affordable prices! Perfect time to get your hands on one of these! 🙂

It’s funny how I always want it to be summer in the winter, winter in the summer. The cycle never ends. I guess I can’t really complain though, the weather here is staying pretty nice. Anywho, here are a few more shots of me from the Re Collection clothing lookbook. We shot in Malibu after I came back from vacation in Hawaii so I had a slight tan, oh I miss my tan too! And I think I want that oversize leopard top!

Sheer Tee: Madewell, Cardigan: Vintage, Trousers: Zara, Belt: Gap, Jewelry: Vintage/Sogoli/Elena Cruz, Shoes: Alexander Wang

As you can tell, I love trousers! The shade of these is different from anything I own. Paired it with a sheer Madewell tee and soft wool cardigan. I’m making my Alexander Wang’s more winter friendly with socks, even though it still doesn’t really feel like winter. There has been lots and lots of sunshine, perfect weather to start off the new year!

Hello 2010!

Image and video hosting by TinyPic

Looking back, I think Menswear was the most inspiring look for me in 2009. I love the trousers, blazer, and button-up look. It’s very relaxed and quite comfy! These pieces have really filled up the extra space in my closet. It is my go-to look when I want something classic and chic. The tuxedo looks sooo good on both men and women when done correctly. I mean, how amazing did Daniel Day-Lewis look in the movie “Nine?” I fell in love with how he wore the skinny tie and tailored suit! Menswear inspired clothing for young women really blew up in 2009 and will remain one of my favorite looks by far!

As for now, I am excited for what 2010 will bring. I’m looking forward to continuing posting on here and sharing my love of fashion with you all. I’ll be spending time this coming year traveling overseas and I cannot wait to share my experiences with you. I wish you all the best of luck this year. Happy New Year everyone!
