My hair has never really felt better. I went a few shades darker with my color. I had an amazing cut…my bangs feel a lot more light, framing my face. The ends of my strands feel super smooth. But it definitely took time for me to achieve extra healthy, strong hair. After my Nexxus salon experience, I decided it was time to dedicate a little bit more time each day to treating my hair. I began the #Lockin24 challenge with theNexxus Therappe shampoo and Nexxus Humectress conditioner. For a little extra power, I have been using the Nexxus Encapsulate serumon the ends of my damp strands right after I shower, or first thing in the morning. The results are magical. Here is my hair, with 24 hours of moisture protection.
There are those collaborations that just work. Like Toni & Guy haircare products and shoe designer, Sophia Webster, available now at Target. Both known for being experimental, a little out-there, and just full on eclectic cool. This limited edition collection is all about GLAMOUR. Here, I picked my favorite night-on-the-town look. Made for dancing anywhere from Manhattan to Brooklyn. I like to call it the messy half-up, half-down bun. It’s still elegant, but youthful and quirky.
Step one. After washing your hair with the shampoo and conditioner, blow dry your hair, and rub in the Toni & Guy x Sophia Webster Plumping Whip. Rub a walnut size amount into your hands, and through your roots.
Step 2: Shake it out. And blowdry until fully dry.
Step 3: After running my flat iron through my ends for a little bit of wave, I brushed up my hair as if I were making a half-up/half-down look. But keep your elastic in hand, and twist it into a casual bun.
For thicker, curlier hair, try using a bobby pin along with a thin elastic band.
Step 4: Spray in the Toni & Guy x Sophia Webster 3D Volumiser. It gives your roots a little lift, while adding a ton of shine.
Step 5: Run the 3D Volumiser thorugh your ends, and scrunch up your ends for a messy, voluminous look.
Step 5: Put on your flirtiest mini, and rock n’ roll coat. Oh, and in some killer shoes.
