Bally has updated it’s iconic Cecyle bag and this is the best new take on a spring purse in a while. It now comes in smaller size with lighter, airy colors and an even more subtle stud pattern. A white bag is essential for spring. I took my new buddy uptown. But what I love most is the little keyhole. Dear Cecyle holds all of my secrets. Want to know a funny one of mine? I like to visit the Plaza and pretend that I live there sometimes. I imagine waking up in the giant master suite, before grabbing my coffee and croissant to take a walk through this park. The Cecyle easily compliments the Upper East Side with it’s elegant shape and effortless sophistication. I could sit here in this park across the street from the Plaza and people watch all day. In NYC, glamour feels right at your fingertips. It’s a place you go to experience that typical New York City that always feels like magic. The hustle and bustle of Manhattan really surrounds this spot endlessly from day to night. The lights glimmering off of gold statues and reflecting off of beautiful buildings. It reminds me how powerful and unique the city really is and always will be. It is timeless. I couldn’t imagine this moment without my dear Cecyle crossbody bag, a trench coat, and a pair of my favorite boots. This is my uniform now and forever. The snow is slowly melting and I can already smell spring. I am so ready for more afternoon strolls in the park, dreaming of life at the Plaza.
This was actually shot on the very last day of NYFW. I was too tired to wear my boots and heels anymore, that I slipped into my all-time favorite sneaker by Bally. I opted for everything oversize, because I was ready to dash in and out of shows under my umbrella in total comfort. My The Kooples coat felt more like a blanket yet this Gucci blouse from NET-A-PORTER made me front row ready in about two seconds. This NYFW flew by. Team Suarez and I shot a lot of amazing campaigns all while making it to 9am show call times and late dance night parties in Brooklyn. Even with all the fun, I was so ready for a good, long facial and massage come the day after. This FW I kept things cool and classic. Loads of trousers, great statement coats, and even more statement bags like this Ferragamo beauty I snagged on Monnier Freres. I have never felt more organized and relaxed during fashion week. I guess I am now a seasoned veteran that it suddenly feels easy peasy from getting my schedule finalized to making the time to get dressed and support some of my absolute favorite designers. I’m so happy to take you through some of my favorite moments in the next couple of posts.
My friends at Bally have redefined the term “moth hole.” Yes, their latest handbag collection is inspired by the holes and snags we’d find in our vintage wool sweaters. This is bringing back a ton of memories, isn’t it? But how beautiful is this tote bag? Perfect structure, patent leather, and adorble hole design. It’s my travel go-to. So big I can stack in my water bottle, make-up bag, and granola bars pre-flight. Speaking of travel, this week is a bit different for Team Suarez as Dylana heads to Rio, Brazil for a full week, and I’m here in NYC, getting in as much work done before the NYFW storm that she’ll be flying back into come next week. Dy will be sporting teeny bikinis, as I dress in my winter daily: the wooly mammoth. When my partner-in-crime is out, it just means I’ve got to do double-duty! Time to revamp the website with the rest of our team, and catch up on those long lost emails. Be right back.
