ASPEN WITH MACALLAN FINE & RARE

// Destree jacket and pant. Salvatore Ferragamo F heel //

I took a quick trip to Aspen for a super special event, the Macallan whisky Fine & Rare 1990 launch! Just imagine the best apres ski cocktail you have ever tasted. For dinner with the team, I wore this stunning Destree suit. Elegant, simple, with just the right amount of shine. It’s perfection set against my gorgeous and eclectic room at Hotel Jerome. The views were insane from my window. Everything about this little Aspen getaway reminds me how much I love the history of this little town. Feeling grateful that work brings me here so often.

LEICA CAMERA Q2 X AETHER APPAREL PHOTO PROJECT IN ASPEN

// Aether Apparel bib pants + ski outerwear //

I am now a proud owner of the new Leica Q2 camera. I have worked with Leica for a few years now! From starring in the Leica Sofort campaign with Dylana, to being the very first to test new product for our projects! It’s been a very exciting and creative adventure that makes professional photography a journey I have fallen in love with. I own a few Leica cameras, but there really is something special about the Leica Q2. It’s an elegant piece that embodies everything that I love about photography mixed with travel, fashion, and adventure. It’s a full-frame compact camera (it’s excellent for throwing over my shoulder for an entire day, or have inside my bag), has brilliant photo quality, and super high speed performance. It makes shooting high-end editorial images a breeze. I like to say it shoots like butter. Smooth to perfection! I took my new Leica Q2 out to Aspen, Colorado with both the Leica and Aether Apparel teams. There could be on better collaboration between two brands. We took Aether’s super chic new skiwear on the slopes while really getting to dive into the world of the Leica Q2, which by the way, is totally weather proof. I didn’t have to worry about a little dust, water, and snow getting in the way while capturing the perfect shot.

This trip to Aspen was a special one. Many of the images of me were shot by Dylana. Aspen’s classic retro ski style is something I’ve always loved. We styled the Aether snow bib pants with nubby knit sweaters and Aether’s extra bold colored down jackets. I love these contrasted against the bright blue skies, and speckled with sun through the trees. Though I’ve been to these mountains many times, we embarked on an adventure that took me to places I’ve never seen before like out to the backcountry of Snowmass for dog sledding followed by wine at the beautiful Krabloonik Restaurant, to cross-country skiing all the way out to the luxurious Pine Creek Cookhouse. This photo project has been exhilarating and inspiring. To many more trips like this one.

VEUVE CLICQUOT IN THE SNOW

// Miu Miu sunglasses, Perfect Moment jacket and ski suit, UGG boots, Acne Studios beanie //

Take an inside look inside my Veuve Clicquot #ClicqoutintheSnow campaign! We shot this in dreamy Aspen, Colorado. Honestly, it’s one of my favorite locations to shoot at. I live for the blues skies, the powder white snow, and of course, a good glass of Veuve Clicquot. This is me, après-ski. The town is extra festive this time of year, and I’m soaking in every bit of it’s cheerful energy. I’ll be back next week and I can hardly wait. Recharging with the fresh mountain air is what winter in Aspen is all about.

BELLY UP COLLECTION | MUSIC MEETS FASHION IN ASPEN

If you’ve ever been to Aspen or simply just love live music, you may have heard of Belly Up Aspen. They have completely pushed the boundaries of a small live music venue. Now a household name, this intimate music venue brings in big acts from all over the world including names like Diplo, Joe Cocker, The Chainsmokers, LCD Soundsystem, and comedy legends such as Dave Chappelle and Adam Sandler! Aspen, at this time of year, is absolutely perfect. We’re talking beautiful lodges on the mountain, afternoons hitting the ski slopes, followed by a drink with friends over at Belly Up Aspen. Now, that’s a ritual that will forever live on. To me, music, fashion, and travel completely intertwine. The Belly Up Collection is a fashion brand influenced by the live music experience they’ve created. Here, I went for a tank and super soft hoodie that I’ll wear over and over again.  Belly Up Collection is now on it’s second season and I’m so excited because it’s wearable, soft, and just a classic staple. Here, I’m sporting both the crop hoodie and muscle tank.I have been layering them like crazy these past few days. I have to admit, I even sleep in them, and wear them on the plane… they’re that good. But most importantly, the collection will always remind me of what I love about Aspen. A super chic city that is all about sports, music, discovery, the outdoors, and having a good time. What’s not to love?

By the way, the beanies I wear so much are by Love Your Melon, and I love what this brand stands for. Love Your Melon is all about giving back and they have partnered up with Belly Up Collection to create an awesome co-branded patch on the hat. They are dedicated to giving a hat to every child battling cancer in America. They also support many other non-profit organizations who lead the fight against pediatric cancer. It’s the warmest, most comfortable beanie I own, and I have them in just about every color. This LYM hat is exclusive to Belly Up Collection so be sure to grab them now! Time to keep our melons warm no matter where we’re traveling this season.
