IT HAS A NAME: THE CARTIER GUIRLANDE BAG

Handbag: Cartier. Coat: Vintage. Sunglasses: Poppy Lissiman. Sneakers: Nike x Vogue. Pant: PushButton. Rings: Eyland.

It officially has a name, the iconic Cartier bag is now called the Guirlande. Delicate, and oh, so gorgeous. It will forever remind me of Paris. Remember the time it was hand delivered by a handsome Cartier courier at my hotel room at the Crillon? The wow factor is still there. The Guirlande is a perfect pop against an eclectic mix of plaid and a little tweed on my Nike x Vogue Jordan sneakers. With plaids, it’s all about finding the right colors when it comes to eclectic pairings. This mix of grey, yellow, and red just worked! I am finally back in full NYC work mode after a really long few weeks in my other hometown of Los Angeles. I just wrapped up a brand new Suarez Sisters campaign shoot and besides that, I’m running around to meetings bundled up in my heaviest of coats over long johns and heat tech. With the NYC weather, I’ve become a pro at experimenting with layers and colors and fabrics! The more the merrier. Layer me up!

January is off to a fabulous start. I still have that excitement and fresh mentality of planning for a brand new year on a positive note. My family’s been in town this week and it’s amazing having the whole clan here to really be my sidekicks as I organize and settle back in! There is always so much to do, and so little time! Sometimes you just need a few extra hands to make some magic. And believe me, there’s so much magic to come.

GOLDEN GLOBES WEEKEND AT THE CHATEAU MARMONT

Suit: Armani. Mini dress: Armani. Shoes: Armani. Bag: Staud

Bodysuit + Flared pant: Retrofete. Earrings: Sandals: Stuart Weitzman.

It is only the very first week of 2019 and it has already been insane and filled with excitement! I went straight from vacation straight into Golden Globes weekend! Did everyone relax on their couches last night with a big bag of popcorn to watch the awards? I got to kick off the new year here at the Chateau Marmont for the W Magazine Golden Globes party with my lovely Armani Beauty team. What a star-studded place to celebrate Golden Globes weekend! It’s not easy snapping back into work mode so quickly into the new year, but I will do anything for such an iconic night. Therefore, I slipped into this dazzling sequin Armani suit and stilettos for the red carpet. The Armani Beauty team came to my room to get me ready and I knew immediately after trying on my final look that I needed a very fierce, smokey eye. Heavy metals, my favorite. I kept the rest of my face really simple, with a nude/pink lip. As for my hair, just a tease at my root and a little cream through my ends. Voila. I’m easy. The quicker, the better. I’m so low key when it comes to getting red-carpet ready!

It’s my first time ever visiting the Chateau Marmont and besides rubbing elbows with all the Hollywood ingenues, I was certainly enjoying the suite life. This lovely suite had a super cool, retro kitchen and dusty pink bath tub. Oh, and you know me, I never go anywhere in LA without my entourage. By entourage, I mean my mom and dad. Being in Los Angeles for work allows me to spend more time with them. They enjoy getting to be a part of the glamorous part of my job. The travel, the hotels, the food, the scene, and the clothes. I love being able to share all of these fabulous moments with my family and friends. The Chateau Marmont is Old Hollywood at it’s finest. It feels completely untouched from the 1920’s. It’s certainly an interesting place to be. Dark and moody, the best spot in the house is at the bar by the pianist. W Magazine and Armani Beauty, thank you for transforming the penthouse into a stellar night celebrating “The Best Performances” this awards season!

FEATHER DETAILING | MULBERRY

Jacket: Mulberry. Skirt: Mulberry. Bag: Mulberry. Shoes: Lena Ezriak

I just want to shimmy and shake in this feathered skirt, or shall I say skort. It has built in shorts! They can’t be anymore perfect for dancing. The holidays are over? I don’t want to believe it. I’m still in that very festive state of mind. Mulberry happens to be my go-to for an eclectic night out in Paris. It seems I’m always living out of a hotel wherever I go for work. I wouldn’t mind having the stunning Hotel de Crillon as my home base. But this week, I’m trading in my croissants for green juice as I settle in on the west coast. I’m currently working in LA, shacked up at the iconic Chateau Marmont. It’s exciting waking up in a new place and I enjoy all the people watching and celebrity sighting. Everyday is one to explore no matter where I am in the world.

NEW YEAR IN RED

Coat: Isabel Marant. Top: Andreeva. Skirt: Andreeva. Shoe: Minna Parikka. Sunglasses: Poppy Lissiman

I am standing right dab in the middle of the Nevada and Arizona state line, but it sure looks more like I’m on top of the moon. I have been living in this giant Isabel Marant puffer coat I snagged on Luisaviaroma (before it completely sold out!) through my recent road trip. It sure is a statement and a perfect piece to start off 2019 with a big bang. The start of a brand new year always feels very refreshing. I can hardly wait for the incredible surprises that are yet to come. I can only dream what 2019 will hold! All I know is, I’m not holding back. I’m excited to freely express myself in new ways. To be fearless. To be strong. To be inspired. I love being pushed creatively to new heights. Thanks to you and Team Suarez, I feel so lucky to have this amazing support system that allows me to purely be me. To evolve and grow. Let the magic begin. Cheers my loves to feeling over the moon with excitement for what’s to come!
