WEATHER PROOF

These happen to be some my favorite images from my latest campaign for Hunter Boots and it was all about hot, hot, heat. Hunter does chic, waterproof, outerwear unlike anyone else. In NYC, we get our muggy thunderstorms, rain, and cloudy skies. On the other side of the spectrum, we get the scorching hot sun and beautiful blue skies. With NYFW quickly approaching, I’m picturing perfect 75 degree weather, made for full days out on our feet, sashaying to the catwalk. But no matter what, this city girl is always prepared…with a pocket full of sunshine.

It wasn’t until I moved to New York City from LA that I realized rain coats, rain boots, and anything waterproof are a total must. As an LA native, I lived in denim and a t-shirt. I didn’t have to worry about my outerwear, or having protective shoes. My lust for Hunter Boots began at Glastonbury…seeing that freedom of running around in the fog with a good pair of muddy, old rain boots. The freedom to go and do…rain or shine. But now that I get all seasons here in NY, I get to experiment…even in the sun. Weather-proof flips flops and backpacks? Count me in, all year round. If it comes in pink, even better.

Beautiful pictures! I’ve recently moved from my sunny home and had to invest in proper rain outerwear too, and it’s definitely more of a struggle than I thought! Love all these pieces, especially that yellow coat! x
