LONDON// COLOUR IN THE RAIN

(VEDA leather jacket, Elizabeth & James sunglasses, Wildfox Couture gingham sweater, Free People skirt, H&M vest, Zara scarf, Hugo Boss handbag, Modern Vice boots)
With the London rain, the city had me holding onto the hem of my skirt for dear life! The colour of my hair, fresh off my L’oreal Paris shoot, so vibrant against the dreary sky. I left my hotel in Covent Garden extra early this day…making it just on time to Notting Hill for brunch at the Electric Diner. Avocado on toast please! With the craziness of NYFW and landing straight in London for LFW after a red-eye flight, all I wanted to do was take a chill day. Forget the heels and oversize camel coats slung over one’s shoulders (they were literally everywhere, I couldn’t look anymore!), I opted for my go-to travel boots, and loads of plaid and touch of gingham. It wasn’t until I stepped outside did my friend notice, “you packed a lot of plaid!” Yep, and I love to mix them, so long as I don’t match! Leather jacket, extra long vest, and round sunnies….I didn’t pack much else. But that’s what I love. I’m slowly becoming a minimal packer, with a much more simplified closet. Only keeping the good stuff. Like this VEDA leather jacket.
My days in London lasted long, and I covered as much ground as physically possible! This city may be even more beautiful at night, after a good rain. In the mornings, I’d wake up before everyone else, and grab a coffee down the road just as the shop opened, just to take a little walk on my own before a long day. As a model, I feel I’m so used to traveling alone, it’s kind of part of the job, and luckily, my friends in London always keep things super exciting for me. Never ever a dull moment. From the late night gigs in Shoreditch to London’s Brick Lane (always the best fish n’ chips in town!) Though by the end of my trip, I couldn’t keep my eyes open!! I can’t wait till next time London, when I can visit my beautiful Brits again!
