F21// FLYING ON HOME

(Forever 21 fringed top and jumper, Cleobella satchel, Worth & Worth custom hat, “Natalie + Dylana Suarez x MODERN VICE” classic JETT boot)
NYC has quickly become my HOME home. Can you believe it’s been almost 3 years?! Yes, I love that tailored city simplicity style, but as an LA native, I’m quickly getting back into that LIVIN LA VIDA Spanish style. The dark sultry prints…the long, messy locks. Here, it’s all about the flowing blouse, the FLY LIKE AN EAGLE fringed top that just makes me want to lift my arms and dance! The sheer rose blouse is a bit rock n’ roll yet still has that bohemian, GONE WITH THE WIND feel. Best with an oversize jumper and somberero-like hat. Forever 21, you’re always on point! It was so nice out this weekend, I couldn’t stay indoors. I ended up by Gramercy Park, peering inside the overgrown lush…like a kid in the secret gardens. Though I’m off for a week of traveling, I’m happy to call NYC home. See you in a week!

BONJOUR BONJOUR

(Worth & Worth biker cap, Rebecca Taylor tweed jacket, Amour Vert striped top, MiH blue jeans, Tory Burch handbag satchel, Carolinna Espinosa heels available at Nordstrom)

What better than to take the blue, blue vintage (but not) jean and pair them with a sleeeeeeek black shimmery heel. I’m diggin’ this brand spankin’ new Carolinna Espinosa shoe at the moment. Pointed toe, check. T-strap, check. Paired with my favorite striped top, tweet jacket, plaid cap, I’m reminded of France of course. BONJOUR! MERCI! If only I had a baguette and bicycle with a bit of flowers tossed in it, I’d be all set. Anyways, I just picked up this incredible biker cap at the Worth & Worth atelier and knew it had to be mine the moment I put it on. The chain, the fit…so good I can’t even handle it. I can’t wait to show you more from the hat that I designed with Orlando at Worth & Worth…it may possibly be my very favorite. Knowing the best hat maker in town ain’t a bad thing! (Thank you Orlando!) My best mate, Kelsea Kosko captured me here up on my roof after a long’s day work…just before the sun went down. Cold, but with that perfect evening winter glow.
Already, I’m packing for my next adventure. It’s NYC to LA once again!

A RUSSIAN COLD

(W Concept hat, H&M vest, Paul & Joe Paris sweater, Hudson Jeans moto jeans, Cleobella satchel, Ax+ Apple silver ring, “Natalie + Dylana Suarez x Modern Vice” classic JETT boots avail now at Urban Outfitters)
The W Concept team knew this little furry hat was one of my favorite items on set of our lookbook shoot. Such a sweet surprise to come home and have it in my own hands. The perfect Russian hat of my very own!! I put it on right away and couldn’t take it off all weekend. I don’t know how I would survive winter without this badboy. Already, I’m home in NYC after a week of traveling, and the cold already has me suddenly sniffling and constantly drinking tea. I’m back to LA again this Friday and NO WAY JOSE do I want to get a cold, especially when I travel! I’m keeping super snuggled under this oversize wool sweater. The sleeves so incredibly huge, a long wool vest was the only thing I could actually wear over it. Now it being one of my favorite looks. Paired with moto jeans, and our classic JETT boot (also now available at Urban Outfitters!!!) I think I’d probably survive a day out in Alaska. THE LAST FRONTIER.

ROUGE TO NOIR

Comtpoir Des Cotonniers reversible biker jacket

(for day) with Lush Clothing sweater and Free People skirt
(for night) with GAP turtleneck, J Brand jeans, Worth & Worth hat, and Rebecca Minkoff backpack
There’s nothing better than a good, rock n’ roll biker. This one, by French brand, Comtpoir Des Cotonniers, is so so light…a day to night go-to. And it’s reversible…RED TO BLACK. I love it in rouggeee, paired with a quilted sweater, extra long plaid skirt, and vintage shirt loosely tied around my waist. An eclectic mix for a bike ride around the LES. If I’m traveling cross-country for work, I’ll roll up this jacket in my hocus-pocus carry-on and wear it reversed for a night out in NOIR…with a sleek pair of jeans, a turtleneck, and extra thick-brimmed hat. A real OFF DUTY piece that’s for sure! My Parisians always know how to do it right.
