Runaway Gypsy

(Paul & Joe Sister blouse, vintage crochet vest, Seven for all Mankind “Slim Cigarette” denim jeans, Born brogues at shoeline.com, Moni Moni “baby monique” handbag)

These high-waisted ankle blue jeans are just what I’ve been dreaming of. I’m a sucker for a good pair of thick blue jeans during the winter. With socks and brogues, they’re my daily boyish outfit. Someone told me I looked like a gypsy…and that I belonged in The Runaways in this look…must be the old school printed blouse, and colorful crochet vest that could have easily been made from pieces of a wool blanket. I’ll take that as a compliment! Lately, I find myself just throwing together outfits quickly…never really matching. I get bored when I don’t. This week has been filled with mornings up at 5am, meetings at the shoe factory (more surprises coming soon), and of course, getting ready for my big trip to Morocco tonight. I can barely sit here and type, I’m so excited…and still have a million things to do before I’m off to JFK. For now, I’m taking these blue jeans out for another test drive.
