Backyard Blues

(Levi’s denim jacket, One Teaspoon Dear Fieldbinder crochet dress, Converse sneakers, Vanessa Mooney necklace and rings)

Ever since shooting with Levi’s for their “Go Forth” campaign, I’ve been getting back to my All-American denim roots. Really, they are one brand that’s always stood true to it’s aesthetic for as long as I can remember. This boxy little jacket was one pick from the shoot that I got to take home with me, and let’s just say I never travel without it. It’s one of those pieces I’ve always had in my closet growing up, as a little tomboy rebel! With some rolled up sleeves and my sister’s old beat up chucks, it instantly brought my One Teaspoon dress down to earth.

Levi’s denim has truly withstood the test of time. The perfect brand to capitalize that “All-American” decency. It’s one brand that – throughout popularity and name-sake success – has never manipulated pricing to match. I have true respect, in that sense and many more.
