Outside Your Doorstep

(Denise Focil for Alpinestires tank, Vintage Calvin Klein skirt, Moni Moni handbag, Via Spiga shoes, Vanessa Mooney jewelry)

Once again, snapped photos right before it was about to rain over in Greenwich Village, one of my favorite areas in Manhattan. My sister, Dylana, and I spent the entire day walking all of Lower Manhattan. East to West, doing quite a bit of shopping and even hitting up a few sample sales. I love sister time! Just being able to walk everywhere and not have to take the subway for once was incredible. It was a gorgeous day as well. The gloomy weather definitely brought out the warm colors of my look. I went with a dark blue silk tank, my favorite vintage skirt, and a new pair of brogues. I just bought the shoes that day and decided to just break them in! It was one of those BUYITWALKOUTTATHESTORE wearing it type of things. They’ve got a slightly pointed toe and are totally boyish, my favorite! I’m the biggest sucker for flats now that I’m constantly on my feet. The bag is also brand spankin new and made by Moni Moni, a new Italian designer. I’m obsessed with this deep red color and this satchel carries everything from my humungous camera to my overflowing makeup bag. All of these warm colors make me want it to be fall already!

I think it’s really great that you and your sister still make time to see one another often even though you guys are living in different cities right now. Love how close you two are. Also, you and your sister always look so effortlessly chic!

I am in love with this shade of red you’re wearing darling – the lips and the satchel = fabulous!
It must be so lovely having a sister to enjoy fashion and the city with, especially as there’s not a big age gap.

Love your blog Natalie, I’m a fond follower!

I love how you always look so model-off duty: effortlessly cool and chic! I know what you mean about being a sucker for flats too. Being without a car, it’s definitely necessary to make them work for outfits because of the ridiculous amounts of walking! And also, so sweet that you and Dylana have “sister time”!

    Have a great weekend!
